We were so lucky to find this place. We were in town from Illinois for a funeral. We found this beautiful old house in the heart of downtown Statesboro. The owner was extremely kind and helpful. He offered us extra time to leave our belongings and return to the room to freshen up before leaving for home. How very kind... More

Let me start by saying the staff was very friendly and accomidating. The cook Annie was great ,friendly and welcoming. The house is an old southern charmer with many histoical details (old fireplace mantels, wood work and porches.) There is a plantaion style bungalow across the drive way with several rooms and a parlor this was light a airy .There... More

First, I thought I had made a big mistake! The grounds were uncared for, the outside of the house needs attention, and they had not cooled the room for me on a HOT Statesboro , June day. After lugging my bags in with no help, and then trudging back to find out how to cool this place off, they told... More

We stayed in a king size room in the old house. It was very nice and very comfortable. Breakfast the following morning was a nice touch. The Inn is centrally located in Statesboro, although it is such a small town that hardly matters. Recommend visiting Meinhardt Vineyards for a tour and tasting. They also have a restaurant that had great... More

This establishment is disgusting. I've never seen a hotel so dirty and dusty. Dead roaches on the floor. Unreliable wifi. Dirty rooms. The place is not staffed well. No night services. If you need something during the night, you're out of luck here. The owner was rude and dismissive, taking no responsibility for the conditions of the premises. Reading the... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Statesboro Inn. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, inn keeper was friendly, and it was a peaceful place. Breakfast was also quite enjoyable. We were served coffee, (juice if we wanted), sausage, eggs, bread with butter and assorted jams. Very yummy! I would definitely return.

We rarely leave reviews but general public should be warned about this hotel. Statesboro Inn, at Statesboro, GA was the only room we could find available for a GA Southern football game weekend in September 2015. We booked the room without checking reviews. Big mistake. Just as many other reviews for this site - it is worn, dirty and needing... More

We sincerely apologize that this guest did not enjoy their stay. There was a birthday party in our banquet hall during the night of their stay which was scheduled to end at 11:00 PM. They asked to extend the party, which we made the mistake of trying to please everyone and let it extend until 11:30, which we should not... More

The rooms were nice once, but shabby now and the bathroom could have used a makeover or at least a cleanup. The room looked as if it had not been touched since the last clean up which must have been a while ago as the window sills were dirty. Room and bed were comfy and pretty quiet although we were... I spent the night a few days ago at the Statesboro Inn, for the 4th time , that I`ve visited my daughter at college . I have my favorite room , 32 , for the comfort of the bed and the " homeyness " . After a long , hot day , running around a college campus in 97 degree... More
