After paying $200 plus dollars, the room had hair on the couch, the carpet was not connected to the floor, the bathroom was in need of repairs and the fan does not work and there were no usb ports for charging items. The front desk clerk was awesome Karina but she was not able to give any discounts nor offer any room that was any better.
She did offer a room but it was not safe nor was the toilet clean or bathroom in good shape.

Again, TA, we need that 1/2 point function. This was a 4.5 for us, and only because the elevator was not working. The front desk clerk was very good about letting us know in advance. We were okay with that as we can negotiate the stairs well, but it's clearly not ideal. We won't rate a property on things beyond their control normally, but this is fairly significant. The property was clean. Parking, though limited because of a high influx of service companies taking rooms here for the night, was convenient. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good. There was a challenge getting food as a couple large "crews" raided the dining room and wiped out the food. We had to wait for quite some time for re-supplies, but Bo and Ms. Wilson were working in 5th gear to "get it done". Great team effort and worth the wait! All staff were very friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome and WOULD consider staying here again in the future...allowing that the elevator was back in service (wink).

Hotel is close to GSU, shopping, and restaurants. This hotel needs to be updated, BAD!!! Our room really showed wear and tear....stains on carpet, tile and carpet had a gap, bathtub had some weird patch or missing part of its finish. Would I stay here again? No, there are nicer places in the area, and they are newer. I should have done my research.

Two of us stayed here on a Thursday night. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was basic but OK with options from biscuit/egg/cheese/sausage to waffles, cold & hot cereal, white toast, fruit, yogurt, packaged sweets, juice and coffee. There is a small workout area with several machines. Several restaurants are 10 minutes away. The only minor "complaint" was that the 1/2 pillows commonly found in these places are used here. Otherwise, the bed & linen were fine.

When we got into the room it smelled so awfully musty. It was very late and we were so tired we decided not to ask to move rooms. I sprayed perfume to try to mask it. When I closed the curtains this is what I saw!!!!
In the morning I showed the front desk and they said they'd have a manager call me. No one ever did.

No problems parking. Checkin was smooth and easy. Staff was friendly and efficient. The price was steep on game weekend, but that's the same all over town. The room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was clean, showers were hot, vent fan worked, lights and electrical outlets all worked. AC kept the room very comfortable. The room was quiet, neighborhood was quiet. We have no complaints.

Great nights sleep with clean comfortable room. No road noise. Breakfast was run of the mill. Coffee was good. Night clerk was friendly and helpful, Will stay here again on next trip. Good value for the buck.

Over the two years my daughter has been at Georgia Southern, we have tried all the hotels in the area. The Comfort Inn is newly remodeled and still clean. Staff was wonderful and breakfast excellent. We have two more years to go until graduation, and the Comfort Inn will get our future business.

Stayed for a GSU football night at a premium price. After the game came back and realized the ceiling above the shower had black mold growing on it. Knowing the entire city was sold out, we waited until departure to notify front desk. They gave us a inconvenience discount of only 20%. My question is how could they rent out a room with this black mold present in the bathroom of room 220?

I have tried repeatly to contact the management of this hotel without results regarding a double billing on my credit card for a one night stay. I have left messages with the employee working the front desk asking the manager to return my call, but to no avail. I am now working up the Choice Hotel chain of command. For those who choose to stay here, please, please check your credit card statements as soon as possible!
