Previously known as The Veranda Historic Bed & Breakfast Inn, it was originally built in 1906, and at its inception was formerly known as The Holberg Hotel. Our Inn is a picturesque, historic destination that is still equipped with many of its original features. Whether you're looking for a romantic stay, family getaway, celebration, or just a relaxing visit to Senoia, we know you'll have great time with lots of fun and enjoyment as you step back in time and experience The Veranda. All rooms have a private bathroom, air conditioning, free parking, free Wi-Fi, and a complimentary continental breakfast. Our famous four course breakfast is offered Sat-Mon and by reservations only. This place is absolutely gorgeous and I think Senoia is my new favourite place.Me and a friend stayed for 3 nights before going to Atlanta for a convention.Obviously this is the home of the walking dead,but Senoia is beautiful even if you're not interested in that.The veranda is like something out of a channel 5 christmas movie,there's so much to see.Our room wasn't quite ready when we arrived but we were allowed to store our cases in there and go for a wander.Our room was large and beautifully decorated.This is a very olde world place so if you want ultra modern you won't get this,but it's absolutely beautiful.

We spent a delightful, romantic stay at The Veranda in Senoia. Everything was wonderful…from the pleasant, helpful host to the great location within walking distance of town, to the “stepping back in time” to the 1906 home, to the clean, comfortable room, to the surprise card and flowers! We will return.

This b&b is such a hidden gem. As is the town it’s in. The building is so classic and absolutely full of charm. I stayed here during the Christmas time and it was so beautifully decorated. Each room downstairs is welcoming and relaxing and peaceful. The bedrooms are all so well maintained and so clean. My room had a fireplace and the bed was so comfortable!! I could’ve slept there for days. The owner is a sweet woman who clearly has a passion for what she does. Her customer service was excellent and she really made you feel like you were visiting her home as her personal guest rather than at a b&b. The house was quiet at night and everyone was very respectful. It’s in a perfect location. All restaurants and shopping were a very short walk. If you are ever in the town of Senoia you would be shorting yourself if you didn’t stay at The Veranda. It’s an absolute gem.…

This place is truly beautiful, and the owners are so sweet! The decor is absolutely my taste and just so cute. The room got nice and cold really quickly, which was perfect for us as my mom and I tend to run hot. The noise machine was really nice to "mask" the sound of the creaking as we walked around the room. The beds were super comfy and the overall atmosphere was just so nice and welcoming. And that breakfast? Oh my lord, absolutely to die for!!! Absolutely worth staying here, if only for a night like we did. The only critiques we have are the creaking floorboards annoyed my mom (it is what it is for me) and the air vents and bathroom vents are very super dusty. The towels also looked dirty/stained. These weren't dealbreakers for us as we were only there one night and the owners and everything else was just amazing.…

We started visiting Senoia due to being fans of The Walking Dead. At this point though we really visit because we love staying at The Veranda so much. My wife and I will stay here for a couple's weekend or arrange a whole trip with our family and friends. Everyone absolutely loves this amazing bed and breakfast, but especially the breakfast! Amazing customer service, a beautiful and historic location, delicious food, and a lot more. We plan to come at least once a year from now on.

We’ve visited Senoia every couple of years and this was our 4th stay at the Veranda. The owners are so kind & the staff is wonderful. The house has so much history but you’re not uncomfortable like you’re staying in a museum. I feel so at home every single time I walk in the door!! There are no words to describe their breakfast! I’ve never been a breakfast person but I actually wake up early in anticipation when I’m there. Trust me, you DO NOT want to sleep in & miss it! The location is perfect. You have all the restaurants & shops within a block or two. If those aren’t your thing, you can spend a ridiculous amount of time swinging on the huge porch, watching chipmunks, enjoying the view, or napping! Don’t hesitate to book your stay here!

Wonderful stay at the Veranda on my way to and from a trip from Ohio to Florida and back. Lovely place, inside and out! I stayed in rooms 8 and 4. Both great, with comfortable beds. I think #4 was my favorite. It’s an old building with beautiful hardwoods, so you can hear other guests walking around somewhat. But, there was a white noise machine in both rooms, so that took care of that very nicely. I’m a light sleeper, and I slept well both nights I was there. The owners are so welcoming, and take great care of their guests. And, it’s a perfect location for WD fans, right in the action. You can see the Governor’s apartment from there! Just a block from “Woodbury’s” Main Street. And another block over is Alexandria. It’s nuts, I was geeking out so hard!! Easy walk to so many filming sites, the Georgia Tour Company, the Walking Dead store, and several great restaurants. As a woman traveling alone, I felt totally comfortable staying at the Veranda, and walking around town till dusk. Then I’d grab takeout (Mike’s Pizza and Nic and Norman’s yum!) and sit in the big chair in the great backyard, eat, and watch the birds. And speaking of food, their breakfast is so, soooo good! I’d come back for the grits alone lol, but everything else is just as delicious, with peach cobbler as the cherry on top. Bringing my sister to stay for a weekend this October, and I can’t wait!!!…

We’re driving from Charlotte to Florida for spring break and wanted a place about halfway and this was perfect! Senoia is a very walkable, charming town with lots of boutiques and restaurants to enjoy. The Veranda B&B is right in the middle of it and we had a wonderful experience. Everyone was super friendly and wanted us to be comfortable! Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back!

We have stayed at the Veranda about 5 times , most recently Valentines weekend 2021. The owners and staff were great as always and they have the most AWESOME breakfast as always !! The food is southern style breakfast and great deserts !
