Sea Island should be a “Ritz Carlton “ type experience. Staff were rude and unhelpful. Always looking for tips. Food was overpriced and barely adequate. If you wanted a drink it took 20 minutes in the main bar. Severely understaffed.
A visit to The Cloister is to enjoy old world luxury. The staff is excellent and the facilities are superb. The grounds are well maintained and boast multiple flowering shrubs and plants. An excellent choice for a vacation or business conference.
