First of all, you are going to have the BEST time! Our family thinks Sea Island Resort is the most wonderful place on earth - beautiful, timeless, elegant hospitality at it’s finest! Impeccable service, beautiful accommodations and manicured grounds, delish food - its the ultimate vacation! We visit several times each year as it is one of our all time destinations of choice! Every season is unique and special! Sea Island Resort, aka The Cloister, is amazing in so many ways and is grown to be a Forbes 5 Star expansive resort situated on the private enclave, Sea Island! Golf Carts and Bikes are a great way to explore all their is to offer.

Hotel's Favorite
A dream come true when visiting this very special resort, from the minute one arrives at the gate to the the last farewell to the incredible staff. Perhaps the most welcoming and friendly resort experience we have had, yet also not intrusive or overbearing. They want you to have a wonderful visit, feel like it is home and they go out of their way to make any and every one feel completely welcome and comfortable. The grounds are a manicured perfection, the walking paths well done, the pools are shimmering and calling, the restaurants are simply beyond outstanding in their food, selections, service and atmosphere. The spa and gym are an easy walk from The Cloister or Beach as is the Chapel, so serene. We especially enjoyed our hours of beach walking and shell seeking. Cannot wait to return next year, and every year from here on in. A must.

Had a gorgeous, much-needed day at the pool and beach with kids toddler-to-12. Great service, a little pricey, but seemed well worth it... Great dinner in the restaurant later as we began to feel the sunburn we'd earned earlier. However, a simple inquiry with management resulted in an ugly situation. Working families get a very different level of service here sometimes. Rude, arrogant, only for the One Percenters here...

If you have that special someone that you need to share some intimate times with, this is the place. Sedate and very private but yet outstanding service from all the staff. Superb accomodations and the beds are heavenly. The sights are great and the activities are first class. Did not golf but will in the future. The Spa is a little heavy on their pricing so watch your charges@!

Thank you very much for your comments. Sea Island has been a “romance” destination for its entire 93-year history, hosting over 30,000 honeymoons and we are pleased to see you agree it is a great place to enjoy with a special someone. We are also pleased you enjoyed your time on our island and are considering a return trip to play golf on our three championship courses. We’ll look forward to having you with us again.

We stayed here for the first time this may 2020 and enjoyed the beautiful island, biking opportunities along the beautiful homes on the island and equally the hotel with its beautiful set-up, the CA-like building. Also service and room were excellent. Especially nice was the beach, pool are and the restaurant in the beach club.
