We loved our 5-night stay and happily give it 5 stars. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival by Alex who gave us a tour and even helped carry our luggage upstairs! We saw her again the next couple of days and her service was superb. She also helped us arrange last minute massages at the spa when we ended up with a rainy day. We each believe that may have been the best massage we’ve ever had. Kudos to Paula who worked out the kinks in my husband neck and my poor tired feet! If you are in the area, make an effort to get by for a massage with Paula. Both Tamika and Flo attended to our every need in the breakfast room each morning and Chef Jason always checked to make sure I had enough since I don’t eat eggs. I enjoyed the lovely yogurt and fruit parfaits he prepared especially for me! We also had a different and delicious dessert every night along with hot tea. We feel like the included gourmet breakfasts (which also counted as our lunches) and nightly desserts, free bottles of water and soft drinks offset any additional pricing and was more than worth it. Lastly the owners Charlie & Chuck were warm and hospitable and struck the perfect balance between being attentive and but not intrusive. The wi-fi and internet were blazing fast, which we appreciated. We really can’t recommend Lucille’s Mountain Top Inn & Spa any higher!

My husband and I have visited Lucille's off and on since the Inn opened in 2001. We went for our first anniversary, and decided to go back this week to celebrate our 20th. This trip was a big deal for us as we have not been anywhere together in five years (due to some major health issues). We planned to spend three nights, and booked the Mountain Suite. The Inn has changed ownership since we last visited, and while it has always been a good experience, this time was absolutely phenomenal. Upon arrival, we were greeted and shown to our suite, which was immaculate. We're pretty picky, and it was obvious the attention to detail was of great importance to the owners and staff. The view from the suite cannot be beat, and it has top notch amenities like a wet bar, microwave, Keurig machine, mini fridge, gas fireplace, and jetted tub. Unfortunately, we did encounter an issue with the room the first night, which had the potential to derail our trip, but that turned out just fine. The next morning, we spoke with Flo, one of the Innkeepers, and she could not have had a better response! She was immediately on top of the situation, even coming to our room to oversee the corrective measures. She apologized profusely and could not have been more attentive. I also want to mention Sam, who went above and beyond to fix the problem. He was so friendly and even chatted personably with us as he worked. As my husband said, no one is going to get everything right 100% of the time, so the most important thing by far is how an establishment responds when they miss the mark. We were beyond impressed with both Flo and Sam in this regard. Our second morning at breakfast, we got to speak with owners, Chuck and Charlie, and again, they were so kind about the situation and apologized over and over again. The breakfasts provided each morning were amazing! Two courses of delicious food, and very satisfying portions. There is coffee and tea available 24/7 in the dining room, and also a fridge stocked with drinks. They also provide a dessert each night that is left out for people to enjoy at their leisure. The chocolate cake was especially delicious! I cannot emphasize enough what a wonderful experience this was for us, and it came at an especially good time for us. We will return as soon as we are able. Thanks so much Chuck, Charlie, and staff!

Fantastic!! What amazing views high on the mountain top. Beautiful, Serene, peaceful. We spent two amazing nights in the Apartment with a full kitchen, dining room fold out couch with extra large closet. Plenty of room. I cannot say more about the wonderful fresh breakfast each morning along with yummy desserts each evening. The staff is more than accommodating for special food needs and prepared a special dessert and breakfast due to food intolerance. We schedule massages and facials for our party and again the staff was amazing. Recommendions to local restaurants and winerys were spot on What a relaxing weekend I hope to return soon!! Thank you, Robin Johnson

Lucille's has great views, good food, and a wonderful staff. It is only 2 miles to the hustle and bustle of Helen, GA from the Inn, but it is a world away. Very peaceful and relaxing with beautiful views of the mountains and valley.
