Text: I came to SSI for a work trip and thankful to bring my husband who is retired and our dog. It was so nice to ride the complementary bikes in the morning before work or take a stroll with my crew on the East Beach area at sunset. We enjoyed the clean and tasty breakfast. Spent some time in the peaceful pool area. Mid to late September seemed like a great time to visit the area as we did not wait for any restaurants. Husband played Plantation Course and felt like the Fore Caddy was helpful. Enjoyed lunch at The Lodge and great putting green area after golf. Hotel staff was exceptionally friendly, regardless of the shift.

Hotel's Favorite
Easy to find but hard to leave, Wonderful property with first class staff and accommodations. World class golf and spa. Great local restaurants (very casual) and eclectic boutiques. Nothing crowded--no lines. Huge live Oak Trees and tons of Spanish moss everywhere you look.

We really enjoyed our Christmas in St. Simons and our stay at the Inn at Sea Island was a perfect home away from home. Great location for us to get to all the things we wanted to see and do during our 4 day stay. And the people could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Appreciated the bikes they had (we didn't get to use them but meant to; ran out of time), and the breakfast each morning ended up working out perfectly. We were glad they had that, but sometimes those breakfasts aren't very good. This one had yummy foods and things we could grab and go on the couple of mornings we had to hurry up and get somewhere by a certain time, like to catch the ferry to Cumberland Island. We would most definitely stay here again because it's a great location and easy to get to the beaches or the Village or even over to Jekyll, but it's also nice and quiet and the room got nice and dark which I loved!

Pretty little place. The lobby, bar/lounge, breakfast room, pool area (heated) and our room were attractive, modern, up to-date and spotless. Our king room (#103) was big, and attractive. The staff here … were fantastic. The continental breakfast was excellent. They treated our group of 8 so well. We were sitting in the lobby space in front of the fire and when I asked if they had hot chocolate, Meredith proceeded to bring us some. Now that was great service. The place has limited services (no restaurant), a bit out of the way but it didn’t bother us a bit. Its associated with the Cloisters, we bought a day pass to check it out. Another great reason to stay here. I read a recent review about a small, outdated room so I guess you might want to ask about that … all I can say is our stay was excellent

The facility was beautiful, clean and quiet. There were ample USB and electrical outlets conveniently located throughout the room. Anne at the front desk was exceptionally warm and welcoming. We received a welcome text that added a personal touch to our stay. We will definitely stay again.
