You are not allowed to go to the Cloister even though The Inn is owned by the same group as the Cloister/Broadmoor and they advertise their restaurants and activities on The Inn web page. The only reason we went out of our way to stay at The Inn was the price was much less than the Cloister, the restaurants were available and we were not able to take the time and enjoy all of the amenities The Cloister has to offer. Don't get me wrong the Inn is nice but its just a road side hotel with nice/friendly staff and a clean room like a Fairfield Inn.
Wonderful little hotel in a cute seaside town. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Sea Island access is kind of a waste of $ though because it is not that well organized. We had a lot of trouble trying to schedule events or even getting accurate info about the events.
Excellent service and value. Beautiful spacious rooms. Bar was well stocked and provided a friendly atmosphere. Property itself was well cared for and clean. Friendly staff who were accommodating and attentive
It’s always a pleasure to come back to this place. This time it was Islam who welcomed us with his warmest and beautiful smile. We really appreciated the heated swimming pool . Also it’s very convenient to walk from the hotel to the plaza and have a delicious pizza to Tramici.
I didn’t know what I expected, but this is not it. It feels more Hampton Inn than Sea Island. Our room was indeed very pretty but wasn’t very clean. The location feels as if you are staying at a strip mall and the buffet breakfast is underwhelming. The front desk staff were rather clueless and you don’t get access to the beach club. I would not stay here again. We moved to the lodge after 2 days. (That was spectacular. )
I LOVE Sea Island, and have for 60 years. However the linens and towels must be changed at the INN as they were as hard as brillo pads, which was shocking to the system. It also should be "prettier"..otherwise convenient
Excellent establishment which was very inviting from the check-in throughout the entire experience. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly, the grounds were well-kept and the location was perfect.
Was just down for a golf trip and this Inn was great! Everyone I encountered was very personable and eager to please. Everything was clean and kept up, would definitely stay there again. Good central location when you come in on the island and a easy drive over to the courses or they offer a shuttle as well.
Poor delayed customer service through lost and found Little help from the front desk, the guy was short and not helpful It felt like a joke. Tried to get a hold of someone from lost and found for 2 days that caused my loss. The hotel should be responsible for my loss.
My stay at the Inn at Sea Island was truly great. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The agents were also very accommodating. The rooms are quite large and comfortable. My only issue was that there were no microwaves in the guest rooms which was very inconvenient. There is a microwave available in the breakfast room that the staff were always willing to allow me to use, but it was very inconvenient because the room was locked and you have to ask them to open it each time. Other than that issue, I would highly recommend the Inn at Sea Island.
