The old man mystery tour led us to some hiking adventures and this cabin was our accommodations for 3 days. The cabin was nestled in the woods about a 2 minute walk to a spectacular overlook. The cabin was clean with all the amenities on the west rim of the gorge. We've stayed at some parks where the cabins were... More

Stayed for a night in the yurt. Clean, comfy, quiet. Huge porch with chairs. The room had two futons (full sized beds) with a full sized bunk bed on top. Good air flow when you had the windows open. Clean restroom with shower in the Yurt area. All cared for by on staff volunteers. Would definitely recommend them. Remember to... More

Beautiful hikes on well-groomed trails throughout the park. Waterfalls Trail was beautiful this time of year, and our 5 and 10 year olds made it fine down and back up the steps unassisted. West Rim Trail is easier and offered a scenic view of the canyon and neighboring cities. The Interpretive Center is quaint with friendly staff and interactive exhibits.... More

This was our first visit to cloudland canyon state park! The cabin was better than we could have expected. Clean and spacious with a really nice screen porch and rocking chairs. We took our dog and he felt at home too. The hikes were challenging but fun and the peace and quiet at our cabin for the weekend was a... More

I heard fabulous reviews from a friend who camped at Cloudland Canyon State Park. I was looking for a nice anniversary trip and drove to see the cabins before committing - a drive of over 100 miles. The campgrounds looked crowded. Cabins looked nice but Spartan. After reviewing the prices, I found a nice bed and breakfast in Lookout Mountain... More

We headed to Cloundland Canyon during the last weekend in January. This is one of my husband's favourite places to hike, so the kids and I planned the trip as a birthday treat. We took our dogs with us so had to reserve one of the 2 "pets permitted" cabins. When we first arrived we thought that the cabin (#7)... More

Our family of four (two adults, two kids) just returned from a four night stay in the yurt village. The yurts are terrific. You can bring all your other camping gear but leave the tent at home. We appreciated the space heater, as the nights were cold. We also liked that there were four power outlets for charging devices. Nice... More

Even in mid-June, we were able to enjoy the upscale camping offered in our Cloudland Canyon State Park yurt. It was a fantastic way to unplug and refresh our spirits after a long work week. The staff was friendly and helpful and the trails are gorgeous. We've already made out next reservation!

We want with a group in early November. The leaves were spectacular and the hiking was fun. We did all of the trails, except the one you had to have a permit for. We saw individuals of all ages hiking. Tip: Climbing into and out of the canyon can result in sore legs for the next couple of days! We... More

The cabin was nice, nothing spectacular. It was very clean and private (cabin 15). The location was very nice for enjoying the leaves changing and some outdoor hikes. The cabin has ample room for 8 people, but I can't imagine sharing one bathroom with 7 other people. For just two it was fine. The price for our stay was absurdly... More
