This place is only good for overnight stay not worth the money. Dog park is horrible, fly's everywhere around the Dog Park maybe because of the goats. Looks like a place for out of town worker's, and those who have no where else to go. Not for me place.
My husband booked us an overnight stop here on our way to Disney World. Unfortunately, we got stuck behind several accidents throughout GA and didn’t arrive at the site until 8:30p.m. I was worried because the office closed at six, I believe. However, when we arrived there was an easy, after hours check-in process on the front door. We got settled into our site, which was a nice flat pull-through spot with lots of trees great for shade (had we been staying during the day). The campsite was very clean, lovely, and very quiet. Also pet friendly, and very easy access right off of the interstate. We were very pleased and are happy we booked another spot for our return trip home. Highly recommend, and wish we could stay longer!
We stayed at Fair Harbor RV Park & Campground and we very pleased with our stay. Clean, well ran, quiet campground. We couldn't get our tv to work, so the owner John stopped in to check our cable, well little did we know that our RV cable was no good. John went and got us a new cable and spent at least 45 minutes making sure it all worked out. For the owner of the place to do that, we were very impressed. The lady working the check-in was also very nice and very helpful. We will definitely be back, and would highly recommend Fair Harbor RV Park to anyone looking for a great campground. Can't say enough good things about this place, Thank you John and your staff for making our stay so enjoyable. Semper Fidelis Rich & Rose Ramirez.
I had no idea what to expect when we pulled in to the RV campground. It is right off the interstate and we mainly decided on it because we were getting off in Macon. It was clean, well-maintained and quiet. What a nice place. Give it a big thumbs up.
This is a large camp that is well run. Clean. Quiet. Inexpensive given the quality. Paved interior roads. Gravel site. Needed a fair amount of leveling particularly left to right. Utilities all good. Electric 118-123V. Excellent internet. Excellent cable (56 channels!). Sites close but not crowded. In woods for lots of shade. Nice rolling setting with a lake, fountain, goats, fields, and a nice forest like feel. Lots of space for walking. Lots of dogs (good thing). People out and about. No pool but there are lots of interesting features, playgrounds, basketball, dog area, etc. Only negative is some of the long term renters have spots that are getting piled high and look poorly. This is a nice camp and we will stay here again. We camped at Fair Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.
I want to give this park a big thumbs up before we leave. The owners and staff have been great and the park is very nice. Mostly pull-through sites in all locations of the park. Price is right too, at $560/month for our 50 amp site, including electricity. AT&T cell coverage is great. I appreciate that as I still work in Health Care IT. They have a very good campground WiFi network and free cable TV. Where we were in site 156 is a bit small, but not as small as some we've been to. Mostly long term units in this part of the park and the people are very nice. The other side of the park seems to have larger lots, but I'm not sure how many shorter term sites are there. Mostly seasonal sites there. They also have a lake stocked with Catfish and Bass, They are great with pets too, as all us dog owners appreciate. Nice dog run and they even have a goat farm here. Horse camping too, with stables too. The town of Perry is a nice town too, lots to do in and around the area. We will definitely be back when going through this area.…
My family and I stayed this weekend while traveling for work. It was a very clean and everyone was friendly. It’s so easy to get in and out. A fun place for kids to play. Our puppy was welcomed as well. Lots of beautiful sites on the lake. We will stay here again!
We came to Perry to visit the Georgia National Fair and stayed at Fair Harbor for three nights. Our site was roomy, had sewage hookup, cable, and streaming WiFi. The bathrooms/showers at the back of the store were some of the nicest and cleanest we've seen. The store offers free fish food to feed the fish in the pond. We will definitely be back!
We stopped there for an overnight stay on our way back to Florida. It’s an easy on an off 1-75. When setting up the almost brand new motor home with the awning extended partially we blew a fuse. Unfortunately, we had no spare fuses. One of the office employees very kindly drove my husband to the Auto supply store to buy fuses. Thanks again for the ride.
Check in was quick and easy . The sites are pull thru with lots of room between campers. Most of us pulling campers didn't bother to unhook because we had the room to do so and wanted a early start. Pool was nice . Store is hugh and well stocked with supplies.
