We stayed in the Coach House, which is the largest of the rental properties for 10 days this September 2020. The first thing to note is that the whole location is stunning, the owners family home is "The Old Rectory" and all of the rental properties are located within its grounds. The whole property has stunning views over Killyfole lake and is surrounded by large mature trees. We had private and unlimited use of our own hot tub and sauna (which resembled Bilbo Baggins house nestled between two trees). The house itself had everything we needed, towels and bedlinen were provided, there is a washing machine and dryer on site and the kitchen is fully stocked with equipment. Caroline the owner had left us a selection of home baked soda breads, jams and butter for our arrival, a really lovely touch. There was also tea, coffee and milk left for us to use. Onsite there is a tennis court, football pitch, archery, kayaking, Segway tours a children's play area with sand pit, trampoline, swings and slide. For the older kids there is a very well stocked games room complete with snooker table, dart board, foosball and table tennis as well as endless board games, mountains of lego and toys for younger children also. Over all a super location for a family break highly recommended!!

This our second stay at Fermanagh self-catering and as with our first visit it did not disappoint. The location is beautiful with views of killyfoyle lake. The lake is also accessible and has a 2.5km walk with every type of wildlife. The location is perfect for exploring wider Fermanagh and all it has to offer, with lots of outdoor activities. We spend time in National trust properties, horse riding and canoeing- all within an hour’s drive. Be prepared for the Irish weather- We had a bit of everything, wind, rain, sun. From a family perspective this is a great set up with faculties to keep children entertained. A games room and treehouse are great assets. Caroline is a great host and is great for tips and places to see

My interest of holding a retreat here in support of female empowerment was vocalised and the host Caroline was more than open & helpful in helping this dream become a reality, these discussions were made before I even visited the space but I felt deep in my heart this would be a home from a home. After meeting Caroline upon arrival & visiting The Stables I knew I wasn't wrong, as tears came to my eyes the moment I pulled up on the drive for I knew I was meant to be there. I knew this was a place evidently truly built of the heart, there has been so much love & care put into this place and it is quite clear the host goes above and beyond for her guests. I couldn't pick a better organisation to collaborate with in honour of this sacred retreat, she was more than willing to help me fulfil all of my wishes and to listen to the message in which i intend to share with women. I can not wait for the event to take place here for I feel it will be truly magical. I highly advise you trust in your heart & visit this place & come and stay here, you will not be disappointed as there is something really special about this place that will help you reconnect with who you truly are, getting away from the stressful day to day struggles of mundane life. After visiting, I felt the pictures did not do the space justice as it was beyond what I imagined upon arrival, I could truly visualise exactly what I was envisioning for my Sacred Sister Share Circle - 2 Day Retreat. Thank you Caroline & to Fermanagh Self catering for being so pure of heart, and for truly & sincerely caring about your guests and their needs.
