Enjoy peaceful camping in the pines. Fish, swim, or boat in the clear, spring fed lake. Take a stroll around the lake or sit by a campfire. This Georgia RV park has level, pull-thru sites that are Big Rig Friendly. Camp in the large sites designed for privacy. The sites are 30 or 50 amp, full hook-up, cable, and free WI-FI. This Metter campground is conveniently located off I-16, just minutes away from golf, antiques, Metter, Statesboro, Georgia Southern, and Savannah.
We were looking for a relaxing getaway with friends and found just that! Excellent quiet location, super clean and very well maintained. Nice little 3 acre pond on the property with fish and turtles, nice roped off area for swimming with a slide for the kids. Access to kayaks, tubes, and floats. When we checked in we were delivered fresh baked cookies to our camper! The owners are so nice anything we needed they were there to help including helping us fix a flat on the camper. The area has so much peaceful beauty to enjoy, we will be back! I’m posting a few pictures from our travels around the area.
Spent a week camping at Beaver Run
and throughly enjoyed our stay
Large sites and not on top of each
other. Bathrooms were spotless.
Had wifi , cable and electric with sewer. Nice fishing pond. Staff was great. We will definitely return next year.
This is a great place to park ur RV. It was a great surprise, the spaces are not cement, it is dirt. When we pulled in, it was pouring rain, I just new it would be a muddy mess, and we would get stuck. Of course there was a little mud but everything drained very quickly, and all was fine. The manager was very friendly and helpful. All was very clean, I will stop here again.
I'm glad you were comfortable and enjoyed your stay in the peaceful pines. The benefits of being in S GA is that the sandy soil drains well. The benefit of our sites is that they are raised to allow for even better drainage. Looking forward to your next stay.

We were here for 6 months. My husband was greeted with warm cookies by the amazing office staff. This is a perfect RV park for us. Tons of activities and prices are very reasonable. They had an Easter egg hunt for the grandkids. I was even invited to participate in arts and crafts. Thank you Jim, Shelley and Janice and staff. We will most certainly use this place again.

Out of the 25 or so RV parks I've stayed in, this is the best one so far, I think. It was very close to I-16, so though I arrived late without a reservation, the very nice owners took my call and booked my reservation -- close to the WIFI location which worked great. The park spaces, mostly under a canopy of southern yellow pines, are well spaced, and there was a lovely little pond nearby. The bathroom / shower facilities were great. The place seemed quiet and peaceful, great for my old Chocolate Lab to amble about and swim in the pond. The $30 price was competitive. When I describe my experience above, I think this is exactly the RV park experience everyone would want -- and simple to get right. Unfortunately, in my experience, that's rare.

We have stayed here several times and have enjoyed our stay each time. They are a very hard working family and works hard to provide a safe, clean camping experience. They give you warm cookies when you arrive and keep the bathrooms spotless. Great spot to stop right off the interstate without the price of going into Savannah.

It’s a great park. First when registering you get warm cookies right out of the oven. The park is clean and well groomed. The pond is great for swimming and paddle boats. They have horse shoe pits and playground for the kids. They have a lot of pull through sites. And they have fire pits and picnic tables and WiFi and cable. It’s just a well managed RV park

We spent three nights at this RV Park, nestled in the woods and around a lake conveniently located just off I-16. The staff is very friendly and competent, even going so far as to deliver fresh baked cookies to our rig as a welcome gift. Although the park is close to the Interstate, very little noise was perceived at the site. Being a wooded campsite, there was little grass and one had to be careful not to drag too much dirt into the rv. All in all, this was a very good park and we recommend it.
