All staff was wonderful—except for the person at the hotel I originally spoke to by phone who was rude, disrespectful and condescending. I discussed this with the
general manager in person but got no feedback.
The Hyatt I stayed in last time includes breakfast. Something to consider for your hotel.
The bed was extremely comfortable. The room very clean. And I loved the water with lemon in the lobby.

Beautiful hotel with recent renovations. Beds comfortable but full size, not queen. No microwave but has fridge. View of back porch is worth a look. Website needs to disclose current amenities and not leave out that the pool is not open, breakfast is a to go bag that you pay for and bottle water is $5.00. Self parking fee of $5.00 a day is automatically billed. If you were dropped off or used an Uber make sure you tell them. No business center. Great front desk staff! Very clean room and bathroom. Renovated room was tastefully decorated and large. USB plugs on all lamps was a plus. Daily housekeeping is not provided right now. If they update their site to reflect size of beds, automatic parking charges and disclose available amenities at the time of booking, travelers would adjust their expectations accordingly. I’m giving it a four because it’s still a very nice hotel that should be getting better in the next few months.

This hotel is a beautiful property, inside and outside. The staff is friendly and assisted us with the right accessible room. Hilton/Hampton Inn properties have a problem with their accessible rooms. One needs to ask about a seat in the shower or tub for mobility challenged guests. Most have ADA toilets, but 1/3 of the properties we stayed at recently did not have grab bars. This one had both, after we asked for a chair. Do not eat the overpriced breakfast. They charged $15 for breakfast that was not as complete as the standard Hampton Inn fare. They refused to cook eggs to order, even though there was a grill in the area. We would have been satisfied to pay $15 for a well served and good quality breakfast. This was neither.

I was really excited when we decided to stay here on our route to northern Georgia. The staff was really friendly and helpful. However, the hotel was overall extremely disappointing.

When we checked in and went to our room, there were many signs that the room was not cleaned. To start, there was unflushed toilet paper in the toilet. I brought my own disinfecting wipes and was wiping down the common areas and a lot of gunk was coming off the tables which implied it wasn’t wiped down previously. All items in the hotel room were unplugged (fridge, phones, lamps) and the fridge had black mold in it.

Then when trying to use the shower, it didn’t drain and the water sat there and didn’t drain. This with the lack of cleaning elsewhere leads me to believe the shower was not cleaned.

Lastly, there was a huge bug in our room roaming around the ceiling. I called to the front desk and the receptionist was very gracious and helpful and let us switch rooms.

Our new room had a “clean tape” over the front door so that we knew it was clean (this was not done on our first room) and the rest of the room had clean tape over it and it was listed where it was disinfected.

I was much happier in the second room as it was listed as clean but due to my experience in the first room, it is worrisome that not all rooms are being cleaned and prepared the same, especially during COVID.

I don’t think I would return again to this hotel.

This was supposed to be a resort. It felt like they used Covid to excuse lack of maintenance, room amenities, service, yet did not follow basic protocols setup by hotel chain.

Air conditioner (2 different rooms same floor) never got below 72 abd that was late at night after running all day between 65-60 trying to get it to lower. Switched rooms, same result. One elevator was broken the entire weekend, even with hotel full or ‘sold out’ per staff.

Large Unmasked Crowds were gathering in seating areas of lobby at all hours. Same unmasked people of all ages crowding elevators.
Missing basic toiletries such as soap for both shower and sink, no body wash or lotion provided. Shouldn’t soap in both places be a minimum during a pandemic where you are supposed to use it frequently? Towels felt like they needed softener. No coffee cups for in room coffee maker, only 2 plastic cups like should be in bathroom.
All but one staff wore masks on their chins instead of over face properly or left uncovered nose, despite walking from behind the protective shielding to stand on other side of desk.

Other Hiltons wrap the remote for the TV and leave packaged hand wipes to wipe between. This one does not and the room had a stale, undefinable odor.

Overall poor experience. Sadly, we went there summer and fall 2020 three times, and it was lovely. We had expected the much needed break from family again, but had a horrible experience instead.

The Hilton Convention Center is a very beautiful property, however the front desk staff are not very welcoming, even for a Hilton Gold status member. The breakfast running scramble eggs and sometimes cold breakfast was not very good, even if it was free for Gold member. The hotel staff failed to mentioned that housekeeping only cleans the rooms after the third stay and when called upon to deliver more towels, they never did. Issue mostly with staff services and food, again the property is beautiful.

I echo Thomas D that this is the worst Hilton property I've ever stayed in. It's outrageous that they dare to charge nearly $300/night for this rundown hotel that's falling apart and filled with dated and worn decor.

The first room I checked into had a strong mildew smell (scary), so I asked to move. The new room had its broken, glued-together desk drawer sitting on top of the bed. Don't get me started on the peeling wallpaper, scuffed furniture, fixtures with the finish rubbing off, snail-like wifi, etc.

I have colleagues scheduled to check in tomorrow. I'm suggesting that they move to another hotel.

I was disappointed that this hotel went out of its way to send an email in advance stating how they were taking Covid special precautions. When we arrived, I was delighted to have a remote check in and find very few cars in the parking lot. Since the price is decent, I rented 2 rooms so my kids could stay in an adjoining room. When we arrived at the room, we found that we had been assigned two rooms next to each other but not adjoining, although one of the rooms did have the capacity to do so. We called down to the front desk and someone said he would call us back. He never did. Additionally, it soon became apparent that the hotel had booked us all in the exact same hallway on the same floor as there were constantly people in the hall. There were literally 10 cars in the parking lot and they put us all in rooms right on top of each other. Since it was an older hotel, the noise traveled and we could hear noise from the rooms on either side of us loud and clear....in addition to the person with a terrible cough who was, of course, in that room that theoretically adjoined to ours...thus scaring us since there was a shared door between us and the person who sounded very ill. The hotel did not temperature check us upon arrival so it made us further ill at ease. Finally, when a survey was sent to us, I wrote every bit of this and got....a form reply NOT addressing a single thing I wrote. This is why I am writing this review here so others are aware!

We had a work conference at this property and I decided to stay the night to avoid Atlanta traffic. The property looks great from the exterior but that quickly changed when I checked into my room. The smell of mildew greeted me when I entered the room and I do not have a sensitive sense of smell. I plopped down at the most springy mattress and I laid there and gazed around the room. It was beyond dirty and several items were in disrepair (wallpaper peeling off the wall, baseboards rotted out, paint peeling off of the doors, torn bedspread). To put the cherry on top, the bed had make -up on the sheets and the chair at the desk was covered in the body fluids that need not be mentioned on a website! It was flat out disgusting! Memo to house keeping; clean the chairs before re-renting the room! If this is a franchisee, you should be embarrassed as the brand is much better than you represent it. Do not waste your money on this property! You would better off saving some money and staying at a Motel 6 ( at least you would save $100). The staff at the front desk tried to make it right as they gave me a new room (their Junior Suite) but it was just as dated and dirty.

Come here in October and stayed on a Sunday night, typically slow for these hotels unless there is a conference. A couple things:

-No ice, but nothing the staff could do about that.
-Asked for a room upgrade because the original room was tighter than expected and had some cleanliness issues. Offered to pay for it, so it was fine when they charged me; even though a diamond upgrade would have been a nice touch on a slow night.

What really compelled me to take time to write this review was what happened at breakfast. Went to go use my credit for breakfast around 9:50 and was informed that breakfast was over (Its posted til 10:30). Fine. I said we maybe will come back for lunch. I was informed there was no lunch at this time. So much for that.

The problem arised when I signed a receipt for breakfast UP FRONT and asked for it back from the breakfast attendant/server and he refused to give it back to me. I assumed he wanted the included gratuity plus the extra 20 percent I put on top of it. So not only did I get no breakfast; I was charged an extra 12 dollars for nothing because the employee wanted to get tipped. I know they charged me the extra because it was not on my folio but appeared later. I hope it was worth it for this employee for a couple bucks because this is not something I am going to let go.
Being strongarmed by staff like this is not acceptable and frankly quite appalling.

Hello and good morning! You will have to call them up because it depends on your profile ( whether you chose points or breakfast ) and also whether the hotel offers the breakfast to the good members . Usually they only offer to the diamond members . Have a great stay!

No. We stayed there in November. I wanted to hear my lunch. After looking in my room, and then the executive lounge, I called the front desk to see if I was missing a microwave. She said that none of the rooms have a microwave. “Do you have one ANYwhere?” She suggested I go to the restaurant and they would heat my food for me. So, no- They don’t offer microwaves in the hotel.

you will have to search on the website for the Hilton. Based on a quick search, they have 1 king bed junior suite available. The website states that the rooms are going quickly.
