Southern Cross Ranch provides a great memory maker for the city family or the person with country roots who wants to introduce the family to the ways of farm life. The facility is quaint, clean, with a pool and community dining. Stay more than two nights and you are sure to feel like a part of the ranch. Be sure... More

Stayed at the ranch for two nights in August - one of the highlights of my trip! Everyone was so friendly (especially Jim, thanks for playing British songs on your guitar!) The food was great and it was so relaxing. Didn't want to leave! I only went horse riding once (I'm a beginner) but the man who rode with us... More

We stayed at this wonderful ranch while helping an ill relative. The ranch is beautiful and the staff is beyond wonderful. We used the ranch more as a bed and breakfast due to medical appointments in Athens but did take an opportunity to ride one morning. The staff and horses are amazing, you can tell that all the staff really... More

My husband, son, his partner and I stayed here for 3 nights in July. I saw this ranch on the internet and actually built our 3 week holiday in America around it as it looked so beautiful. This is such a lovely place, very relaxing, wonderful rooms, excellent food, a pool and hot tub, mountain bikes and loads and loads... More

Honestly, this is more of a Southern Style B&B with a seperate riding stable on site! Both are amazing! The food is just fantastic! The rooms are all different, which is neat, and always clean. most are updated. Since its really a B&B, so there is no fitness center or business office. There are mountain bikes available to guests to... More

Came here with my husband for his birthday. We stayed for 2 nights. It was an amazing experience. We went there in November so it was a bit chilly, but we enjoyed the B&B feel of the place. The breakfast in the morning was great, felt like you were eating breakfast at your grandma's house. The stables were awesome, we... More

Southern Cross was lovely! We were day visitors and did not see the hotel rooms, but the grounds were lovely, with swimming pool, large pond, pastures, paddocks and woodlands. The self-serve buffet lunch was great - I had sauerbraten, gnocci, vegetables, salad bar, and a delicious tiramisu. The barns are extensive and well kept, and the barn staff is extensive... More

The barn and it's staff was great. Awesome property with Hugh pastures that rolled on for acre after acre. The trails flow through trees and brush enough that you forget your on a ranch. All of the horses my family rode were great, and with literally hundreds of horses on the property it would be you and not the horse... More

My husband and I spent several days here. I love horseback riding and got my fill twice a day. The ranch guides were fabulous! The ranch is beautiful and there are horses everywhere. The room was top notch. I cannot brag enough about the meals-huge breakfast and two other meals were like having Thanksgiving. So relaxing, too. A must for the... More

Stayed here with my sister and sister-in-law for three days in May. It was absolutely wonderful. The staff, beginning with Jim, the first person you meet when you arrive at the ranch, to the barn staff, especially loved Big Dave, our trail guide, to the kitchen staff, who cook some of the most delightful concoctions - it is all better...
