We were attending Parents Weekend at Covenant College, and the Inn was close to all the events. We found the inn to be quiet and very comfortable. The room was great, shower was larger than most too. Breakfasts were delicious. I'm sure the wood like setting is beautiful when plants and flowers are in bloom.

This bed and breakfast is located near Covenant College, which is great for college visitors and their families. The room was very clean, although there was no lighting for the shower, which was dark, and so narrow that you couldn't turn around in it. The breakfast was delicious, but I was ushered into a cold room where I sat by myself, while other guests were shown into a cozy, fireplace-lit room. I didn't question it at the time, but for what I paid, I would have preferred not to be isolated in a cold room, especially because I was traveling alone. If you decide to stay here, make sure to turn on the outside light of your cottage before leaving for the day, because there is very little outdoor lighting after dark. There are also "Tips are Appreciated" signs all over the place! I won't hurry back, but it is certainly in a convenient location on Lookout Mountain.

Quick flight to Atlanta and then a short 2 hour drive to Chattanooga to celebrate. We stayed in the Summers Dream room. Very bright, clean and cozy. Bathroom was very clean. Nice shower and tub. Bed could use an upgrade on the mattress but it was certainly ok. (a little on the soft side for me but I still slept very well). I would also suggest having cleaning crew dust the fans regularly. It was not filthy but seeing dust on the edges of the ceiling fans is a bit of a turnoff. Check in was super easy and was done outside the office door for social distancing. Breakfast was served inside and was excellent. Exactly what I envisioned a B&B breakfast should look like. Very cute dining area. For the price I was very happy with the room and the property was tucked up in Lookout Mountain which was definitely a nicer choice than staying down in Chattanooga especially for a romantic getaway in my opinion. The location is less than 5 minutes from Rock City and Ruby Falls and other Lookout Mountain sites. I would have loved to book the Robins nest room with a fireplace and Jacuzzi tub but since it was booked I guess I will have to return again sometime and check it out. Overall I highly recommend this place for a short getaway,

Our recent visit to Lookout Mountain brought us to Garden Walk. We were in the Midnight room. The two room suite was very clean and comfortable. The jacuzzi was in a separate room. Hot water was excellent, towels were plentiful, the bedding was fresh and of high quality and the mattress was comfortable. The nicely decorated suite had a full bath and a half bath. The owners were personable and the girls that served breakfast were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was delicious, with pancakes one morning and a hash brown/egg casserole the next. Vegetarian options are available. I would return and recommend this b&b.

I must say that we have stayed in many bed and breakfast places all over the United States and by far Garden Walk is the by far the best one we have stayed at. The individual little cabins make it so nice as you are not climbing up stairs and being cramped into tiny spaces. We stayed in the Florida Room and the pictures on the web site were true. (no fish eye camera views) We felt we had plenty of space. The bed was very comfortable. We really liked having the coffee and a small fridge in the room. Breakfast was so good! The potato/egg dish was fantastic! What made it really nice as we could eat outside or inside. We picked outside as the weather was great, plus, during Covid it was nice to be outside. I did peek into the inside dining area and it was really inviting as well. The surrounding grounds were beautifully planted with little art objects hidden. If it had not been for the rain we would have walked around more. An added bonus was the resident dog Rita. She was very sweet and welcoming to all. The pricing was so reasonable on top of it all. I am so glad we found this gem and are already thinking of reasons to return with friends in the spring. They had a hot tub and pool which I am sure is great when there is no Covid.

Very disappointed. Over all our cabin had a strong musty smell. Sickening. The gardens are full of poison ivy and weeds. Garden furniture was dirty or rotten therefore couldn’t not sit on them. Our bedroom had 3 windows with no shades only a lace curtain that can be seen through. Very uncomfortable undressing. Cob webs on light fixtures and ceilings. Overall this was a terrible experience. Owners were friendly enough but everything else was terrible. The reviews prior to reserving sounded fine but this place misrepresented its establishment. Beware……

We traveled from Northeast GA to Nashville and stopped at Lookout Mtn/ Chattanooga as mid stop. We stayed in the garden of roses room. It was adorable! The bed was so comfortable but kind humid like the sheets felt kind of wet? We got the local pizza place that delivers for dinner. CHEESE BREAD was so good!! The homemade breakfast was cute and if you are older and need accommodations it's a perfect place

Spent just one night but would have enjoyed a second. Nicely renovated older property. A grouping of cottages with 1 or 2 bedroom options. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, each with private bath, and a very nice and well-provisioned kitchen and a small deck with umbrella, table and chairs. Do not expect slick or flashy but the cottage was clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was a real treat and the staff was professional, friendly and helpful.
Only caveat is that the road connecting the cottages to the office/breakfast area is quite rough and could be difficult for someone with mobility difficulties.

The reviews from the past years are glowing. However, they no longer apply. We stayed there last week for 4 days. Our visit began at checkin, when my husband fell through the rotten porch, creating a big hole! We are very lucky he was not hurt.
When we walked into our room, a huge stain was visible on carpet in room. The trash from the previous tenants had not been taken out. The bathroom walls were filthy. We rented the entire cabin. WiFi is simply totally inadequate, and only one device can operate in a cabin at a time. The pool was not maintained and besides the low water level, it was fun of bugs. The jacuzzi top was broken, making it not usable. The gardens and outside sitting areas are full of weeds and appear to have poison ivy in them, such that you don’t want to sit in the outside sitting areas.
The staff are very nice and one can see where the Garden Walk was quaint and peaceful. However, it is in serious needs of repair , updates, and maintenance. The previous glowing reviews should not be allowed to mislead you. We would not return.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend while visiting Chattanooga. It is a beautiful retreat! Our room was clean and welcoming and it was wonderful to relax in our whirlpool tub at the end of the day after exploring nearby Rock City. Breakfast each morning was delicious! It is very much worth waking up for. They also have a lovely pool that we enjoyed lounging by in the afternoons. We had a wonderful and restful weekend there. It is very close to both Rock City and Ruby Falls. There is a convenience store within walking distance that sells beer, wine, and snacks. About a 15 minute drive from downtown Chattanooga - lots to do! We hope to come back and visit again one day! The owners are very friendly and accommodating.
Attached photos are from the “Out of Africa” cottage where we stayed. It even comes with the DVD. We had never seen it before and enjoyed watching it on a rainy afternoon. Personal touches like the makeup removal towels were so nice to have. Room also came with the essentials like a hairdryer and coffee machine. Our room had a beautiful vanity that I’m going to miss so much! It was fun to sit at it and get ready for evenings out.

We had a great meal at Cafe on the Corner, which is "just around the corner" from the Garden Walk Inn.
This is no ordinary diner/cafe. It has a nicely varied menu of dinner entrees and appetizers. Plus, don't miss out on the cornbread baked in little 4" square iron pans. Yum!
We had a sizable group (ten) who ordered from all over the menu and nobody was disappointed. Great service too.
Highly recommended.
I wasn't aware of any packages. This is a small facility run by a very nice couple. The rooms are doubles in small stone cottages.
