This place is nestled at the top of a hill right underneath a beautiful mountain that you can walk up from the guest house. Amazing food, lovely service from Bridget, and beautiful accommodations!! I cannot more highly recommend this place.

We visited Morija on a family history exploration, and were fully rewarded.. MGH was the best place we could have stayed, and we felt like part of an extended family. Self catering is an option in the main house, or a tasty home cooked breakfast/dinner...More

About
Description
The main house, perched on a rock and offering superb views, can accommodate 16 people. It is built of hand-cut stone, thatched with local grass and blends into the environment. Below are two cottages built in ...More the traditional Basotho style with thatched roofs and decorated walls that can welcome 8 more guests. Most of our bedrooms are twin rooms but we also have a few doubles and singles and one family room for 4. The bedrooms are rustic but comfortable and tastefully decorated. Bathrooms are shared. The large dining-room and lounge of the main house can welcome up to 24 people. Visitors can choose between having the delicious meals we offer or cooking for themselves as the houses are equipped for self-catering. We are proud of our welcoming staff, our homely atmosphere, our commitment to Eco-tourism and our integration in the community. The Ha Matela Youth Centre, which we started in 2010, is located at the bottom of our site. Less
