Was a very chill laid back scene with beautiful views and a quick walk to the beach. We loved every minute of our stay. We chose to stay 2 nights instead of 1. We didn’t want to leave. The front desk staff were amazing and the breakfast every morning was a bonus! It was delish
Enjoyed our stay at Days Inn. The suite is a great option with a private balcony and kitchen with stove top and oven. It was clean and comfortable and we would absolutely stay here again. The price is very reasonable to be on the beach and oceanfront. Loved renting the bikes right next to the Days Inn which was convenient. Best way to see the Island.
My only issue with this hotel was their decision to close pools with a hotel full of guests with children. Our room was neat and clean on check in, the breakfast was delicious and always fully stocked. I chose this hotel because of a more direct beach access from previous stays.
Booked through Priceline-it was the 'let Priceline pick among three hotels' deal. It wasn't a deal as my AAA auto club membership would have been cheaper. The hotel looks nicely planted from the driveway but it's poorly maintained inside and out and with all the PPP money this hotel received, obviously, not a dime was spent on retaining staff and maintaining the property. The room smelled and of course the staff said they knew nothing about it. The TV didn't work and the WiFi connection drops out. For a hotel so close to the Convention Center, this is not a gem. Tile in shower and caulking exhibit mold growth, shower head is corroded and the chrome has come off the wand line, the room was supposed to be modified handicapped, but a step over tub wall does not equal handicapped. A shower stool was left tin the bathroom when one would expect it is in the shower. While bed linens appeared laundered, the skirt around the bottom mattress was dirty. The floors are not cleaned and in the main room, they are nothing more than contact paper slapped on the floor and s/b replaced. The free breakfast is nothing great, but is minimally acceptable. You are better off paying slightly more for a AAA diamond rated hotel with a 9+ review than this dump. It's the rip off knowing that the PPP money was given to them and the failure to use it as intended. The excuse given for no housekeeping and change of linens daily is 'due to Covid'. Not one hotel on my drive from MN to FL gave that rational. There are no partial views of the Atlantic since the trees are overgrown and the dunes are high. The bike rental operator, independent of the hotel, but at the end of the hotel parking lot was easy to reach and the shop owner was pleasent to work with.…
Hotel not new but kept up well. Great location, clean, and lots family activities we enjoyed. We stayed in suite with balcony and enjoyed it very much. Spacious for hotel room. We would stay here again.
The Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Jekyll Island was laid back, clean and a great choice for our son's wedding guests and priests. The location is excellent and the front desk staff were amazing. Definitely would stay again.
My husband and I stayed at the Days Inn on Jekyll Island when I had a work conference. We stayed in a room with an ocean view and king size bed. The room was very clean, had the perfect amount of furniture and had the cutest chairs outside to sit enjoy the view. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub was also clean and the grounds were well kept. Breakfast is a must if you stay! They had hot options as well as some fresh fruit, small muffins and a juice machine. The location was away from the hustle and bustle of the main downtown but only about an 8 minute walk, just right for a warm stroll to dinner and drinks. We also enjoyed morning walks on the beach, which is right across the boardwalk by the pool. It was the perfect getaway!
Friendly staff, clean facility, easy access to beach, multiple pools and hot tub. Easy to get to, within walking distance of the "town". Nice that they had multiple laundry rooms (2). Multiple stairways to access facility, elevator is small and slow, BUT only has to service 2 floors, Big enough for wheelchair and ramps access 2nd floor rooms from elevator.
Nice property right on the beach. It is located on one of the main bike paths on the island which reappreciated. They had a great continental breakfast for no extra charge. The room was somewhat noisy which bothered my wife.
We love this place ~ all of the staff, including the manager, front desk people and dining area attendants are top-notch ~ helpful, happy ~ so accommodating. The cleaning/maintenance staff is also to be commended ~ they are all very efficient.
