The only nice thing here was the gentleman who managed the place. There was a woman there yelling at us and told us we could not sit on the outdoor swings. Well then why do you have them. The place was really not all that clean either. The day we had to leave they came banging on our door 5 times to see if we were leaving. We were but not until 11:00 as is their policy. Never again.

If you like railroads, you’ll love this hotel. The trains come rumbling along at all hours and will even serenade you with an occasional whistle at 2 am. So if you don’t think trains are for you, skip the nostalgia and find somewhere else to stay. Beside the hotel itself is bar bones with peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, a dangling smoke detector hanging from the wall and few of the amenities you might come to expect in a most modern motels. And if that’s not enough, there are no locks on the side doors so just about anyone can walk in at any time.

Woke up, realized no coffee pot, not enough shampoo, then no hair dryer. Walked to phone, didn't work. Went to front desk, no response, went to work with wet hair. Not staying there anymore. Good luck

This is a terrible place to stay. They tried to get me to plunge the runned over tolet. The maid never made our beds or clean the room. My sister had to use the tolet she was told not until you check In. Please don't stay at this place. If you do you will be sorry.

This hotel was disgusting. The first room had dried poop in the toilet bowl, dirty Ziplock bags in the empty kleenex container and a dried smeared substance on the dresser..we asked for a new room to find a pair of dirty socks in the corner from a previous guest, a broken lock on the door, dried blood on the bathroom wall opposite the mildew growing on the other wall and shower curtain, a window that didn't close so we could hear the trains passing through every 30 mins, dead bugs on the carpet, and stained cut-in-half towels that were supposed to be washcloths. The ceiling light was burned out and two other lamps in the room didn't have light bulbs. There was chewing gum stuck to the side of the night stand in plain view and some other substance smeared across the door. It was too late to book somewhere else so we went to the store and bought Clorox wipes and Lysol disinfectant spray to try and clean the room ourselves. When we notified the manager about the lock, he blew us off and interrupted to tell me it was fine and walked away from us. The next morning we checked out as soon as possible and asked for a refund. They admitted that the conditions were unacceptable, but then chuckled and argued that because we were safe and lived to see the next day, they didn't owe us a refund. When I tried to show them pictures, they finally refunded our money. I wish I could post all my pictures, but this site will only let me post 10. Trust me, it was disgusting! I don't know how they've passed inspections. Run away from this place. It should be shut down!
