With all the outstanding reviews we had to stay here. We have done the B&B thing several times in the US and in other countries. We like the great breakfasts....and the unique places.....such as an 1800s house in South Carolina...or old unique house in Europe. But this place was a house most likely built in the 1970s...maybe a little earlier...with... More

Our recent stay was extremely pleasant but way too short, I could've stayed a week or more! Both Frankie and Barbara who run this hilltop bed and breakfast made us feel like family and the delicious breakfasts were as good as my grandmother would serve me,their recommendations on dining options in town and nearby attractions were very helpful and greatly... This was our second visit to the Alpine Hilltop Haus and we enjoyed it again very much. Frankie and Barbara want guests to feel at home and they succeeded yet again. We stayed in Melissa’s room both times and, while not a large room, we found it quite comfortable. Breakfasts are cooked and served by Barbara and Frankie and were... More

We can't wait to go back! After reading the amazing reviews, my husband reserved a couple of nights here for a short getaway. Before we had a chance to close our car doors upon arriving, Frankie was at the front door to greet us by name. We stayed in the Dogwood Suite (this suite has it's own private entrance) and... More

This is our second time to stay with Frankie and Barbara and the ladies are just as gracious now as they ever were. They greeted us with open arms and hearts for a relaxing weekend in the Georgia mountains. My wife and I were with a group for a yearly car show and we filled every room of their B&B... More

Frankie and Barbara are excellent hosts. The rooms are comfy, food is delicious. They make you feel right at home. Beautiful view of the river from the back yard seating area ... and just minutes from downtown Helen.

I stayed one night here with a friend for a girls getaway. Like the other reviews said, Frankie and Barbara are precious hosts and breakfast is yummy. Rooms are quaint, very clean and cozy. We walked in to town which is about .2 miles down the hill :). Lots of good restaurants to choose from and cute shops to visit.

This review can only begin with the great hosts at this BnB. Frankie and Barbara, from the very beginning, made us feel very welcome. Our room/suite was very cozy and far exceeded our expectations. The home sat high on a hill over looking Helen that provided a lovely view of the area. It was a very busy time in Helen... More
