The Heidi motel is located in down town and is one of the most Photographed building in Helen, GA and is one of the landmarks to the town and also are currently the only Motel in this area that you can actually stay in a windmill. We do not do a Breakfast due to the fact that we are across from Bettys country store and 2 buildings down from Hoffers Bakery which we recommend to all our guest to go for a great German breakfast and lunch. We have no pool due to the fact that we are so close to the river and that there are 2 water parks in town. We are American owned and operated and live on site. We work very hard to make your stay great and really appreciate your business. Thanks Chad Jackson

We love staying at the Heidi! The staff is always friendly and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. We rarely even get in our car, as the Heidi is within easy walking of nearly everything in Helen.

We seriously enjoyed our stay at the Heidi Motel while travelling to Helen for a family wedding. Other relatives stayed on the east side of Main Street (closer to the Georgia Mountain Coaster) and their rooms weren't nearly as nice as our newly remodeled room at Heidi Motel. Also the Heidi Motel is close to Betty's Country Store, Hofer's Bakery, and Cimmi's Courtyard Cafe (Cimmi's was the best breakfast we had on the entire trip) and you can travel to Unicoi from the motel without hitting downtown Helen traffic. The staff is kind and attentive. We asked if they had a nightstand lamp to use during our stay and they didn't have a spare lamp, so manager actually went to Walmart (at least a 30 minute drive from town) and bought a new lamp for our room! The one potential issue for folks like us with fitness and mobility issues is that the motel is on the top of a steep hill. We're Floridians and we're used to flat surfaces, so that hill gave us a challenging workout! But it was worth it to crash in our clean, comfortable room after the uphill climb. If you're going to Helen for hiking I'm sure you won't even notice the hill.

Heidi Motel was the cutest! The suite was shaped like a windmill. It was very cozy! Room was clean and there was a hot tub! The staff was really nice too. If you’re looking for a little getaway, this is a great place!
