I've booked many hotels in many different places in my life and this one took the cake. Every time I called to confirm my rooms (it's really busy and hard to find a place during Oktoberfest) my room was NOT what I booked OR price kept going up. Was a complete disaster. Scott at front desk and ?owner Raj no... More

Jameson is not the nicest place. Where do I start? The front desk woman was nice, but asked us to submit a nice review if we liked the place. hah! The clientele was a bit seedy, we were woken up at 3 am by an irate customer beeping his horn, and the clients next door (we think they worked there)... More

We had a last minute opportunity to travel to Helen for a night out and the Jameson was the most economical place on the main strip. We were able to reserve a nice room for a very reasonable rate at the absolute last minute on a Friday night. Staff when checking in was very helpful even though it was very... More

We were pleasantly surprised after reading some of the reviews. Yes the building is old, but check in was a breeze, our room was ready within 10 minutes even though we were an hour prior to check in. The room had NO odors which was a surprise and the room was clean. The bed was comfortable, had a flat screen... More

After spending one night in this hotel, I accidentally left an expensive women's vest (because it slipped off a side chair into a dark corner because their floor lamp didn't work). I called that night and the desk clerk told me to call back the next morning & speak to housekeeping. I contacted them 3 times in the morning, speaking... More

This hotel was located close to town. It was clean and was very affordable. I felt like the beds were a little uncomfortable but not awful. We loved the town and the whole atmosphere. This hotel was ok for our short two night stay.

So, my wife was wanting a last second getaway with the entire family (family of 4 with 2 young daughters). She had been going through a lot lately and we wanted to visit Helen. Unfortunately, it was the last second (mid-week) and most every hotel in Helen was booked or required 3-day minimum stays due to the holiday weekend. The... More

We paid for two nights and only stayed one. The hotel is over priced for what little it offers. The room was clean though, so that's a plus! If you are just looking for a place to rest your head and a small bit of breakfast this could be the place for you. If you are looking for more then... More

I booked the Jameson because there were some very good reviews here. After flying all day, we arrived at the Jameson Inn at 9pm. I was surprised and disappointed to see that it was right on the main road (I was led to believe it had a view). With all due respect, the crowd we were seeing there was sketchy.... More
