ABSOLUTELY NO SLEEP! The people staying above us you could here every foot step, floors cracking as they were actually stomping above that it literally sounded like they were coming through the ceiling at any moment, not to mention this would start around 4:00 am to 5:00 am every morning and lasted for hours. You could also hear them talking.... More

Needs serious updating and cleaning. My husband's parents rented a condo for the week. My husband and I went for just the weekend. Last night was our first night. We are sitting at home now. None of us wanted to spend another night there. Parents are already home too. The Bad: Parents didn't sleep all night because their bed was... More

First we book on bookit.com. then upgrade to a nicer room. But that did not take place. An yes it is a couple of blocks from downtown but the resorts forget to mention that all the rooms are up a steep mountain. Needless to say quite disappointed in the whole thing. Will not be back after this go around. Very... More

We used a time share exchange and didn’t do a lot of research on options. Honestly, I have mixed feelings about this place. Here are some of the plus/minuses The unit was very dated but everything function fine. • The beds were OK – certainly lots of room for improvement but not the worst I’ve experienced in a timeshare. •... My two daughters, four grandchildren and I traveled to Helen for a family vacation. Having never been to that area, we were blown away by the Bavarian Wellkommen. The kids had such fun tubing down the river, taking a horse and carriage ride around the darling town, and panning for gems. Legoland, an hour and a half south in Atlanta,... More

Enjoyed the stay at the resort. We were sent there by VRI. Condo was clean, well stocked. Watch out for the bears though! They come around about mid-night and raid the garbage cans. Resort is about half mile from Downtown Helen. They have a parking lot at the bottom of the resort (Its on top of the mountain) resort guests... More

I have not been to Alpine Crest in several years and it is really beginning to show its age. The unit we stayed in a two bedroom was up a steep hill surrounded by thick trees with no view of the city or the mountains. The unit was on the upper floors which required climbing two steep staircases with lots... More

My three children and I took a mini vacation just to get away. Alpine is a great city to visit. The kids had a blast. I didn't really get to spend quality in the resort, I check in at 4 pm and check out at 9 30 am. For the money I paid wasn't worth 5 hours. But loved the... More

And I was happy, We had three condos for out family reunion and they were able to place us side by side, other resorts we have ended up on different floors or in different buildings. My Son in Law's birthday was this week, and we came back from exploring town on his birthday to find a card and a birthday... More

My mom and I were planning to do some hiking, so when I read the bad reviews for this place I thought these people were just exaggerating. So, we brought our own pillows and sheets and set off for the week. When we arrived the place was deserted- like, The Shining deserted. We couldn't even check-in! No one was there!... More
