This is a really nice - and VERY - expensive place. The staff is lovely. They’re nice and friendly and helpful, but the prices! The resort fee add-on irritated me as soon as I found that I have to pay even more to use basic tennis and pickle ball courts that we couldn’t even find.

What a wonderful experience spending the weekend here for our sons wedding at the Yonah Winery. We had the rehearsal dinner here at the Great Hall with a Post Toast party afterwards. The dinner was excellent and served perfectly. The Great Hall venue was perfect. Michiela Lewis and her team were amazing. Everything was well planned and perfect. From the start, Michiela was a joy to work with. Very friendly and professional and made me feel confident everything was going to be beautiful. And, it was! Thank you Michiela and the staff at Valhalla for a special experience and celebration.

This was our first time staying. It was recommended as we were in the area for only one night while we go to a wine tour. Its very homey like arriving at relatives home. Staff in all areas were very nice, warm and helpful. Susan at the bar has a great personality and def knows how to mix drinks. We did not eat there, but went to see the SkyBar and the view is breathtaking! Def going again and stay more than one night to be able to explore other offerings here

I've stayed at Valhalla before in the main hotel and it's always been great. This was a birthday trip and the first time in a bungalow (for us three sisters). It was very clean and comfortable, (would have been even better with some towel bars/hooks in the bathroom and two beds instead of the king and a thin sofa bed). The reservations staff was helpful beforehand in arranging for the kitchen to hold our birthday cake, as Valhalla doesn't do cakes in-house yet. Birthday dinner at Caledonia was exceptional, and Chef Tim even came out to introduce himself and cut the cake for us, which was so nice. The staff in all areas (front desk, valet, restaurants, housekeeping) were very warm and helpful. The food at each restaurant was fresh and delicious. We missed the spa and pool, as we were in Murphy, NC on Saturday, but will do those next time. Thanks to all at Valhalla for a lovely sisters' weekend!…

My husband and I loved staying at this hotel! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large, comfortable, and quiet. The views around the hotel are stunning! We ate dinner at the restaurant inside the hotel and the food was excellent.

I must say this was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I stayed in the hotel portion and used the spa facilities. Upon arrival I was greeted with a smiling face and that experience did not stop. For two days I met the most friendly and helpful people who cared that every aspect of my stay was comfortable. The accommodations are thoughtful and clean. The food was delicious at every meal. The spa is clean and relaxing with people who are willing to take time to help with any questions or concerns. I was looking for a place to find peace and healing but received so much more. The property and views are breathtaking. I felt safe and at home. I can’t wait to go back and experience even more of the fun activities they have such as art classes and see the people again that make this place so special.…

My experience at the Valhalla Resort Hotel in Helen, Georgia was fantastic from start to finish! We chose the romantic getaway package, and the customer service was excellent! We stayed in a king suite, and it was not only beautiful, it was also very clean! I requested special accommodations (rose petals, champagne, etc.) and was not disappointed. The food at the hotel's restaurant was delicious every time we ate there, and the chef was accessible, cordial, and ensured that his customers were satisfied. We absolutely love this hotel. They really treat you like royalty. The chef, Tim made an incredible meal and Ryan offered excellent service. Cynthia did my massage and definitely exceeded my expectations. It’s nice to get away and not have to worry about anything. It’s close to downtown Helen where you can experience good food and browse little shops. We come here every year and never leave dissatisfied.

After a terrible experience at another local hotel, we were able to get a room here! It was beautiful and the staff is very accommodating! Champagne upon arrival, spa was AWESOME! Food was great as well!
