Very separate from the mayhem of Helen. Check in process is really good. Rooms are large and comfortable. Restaurant is excellent though in C19 times menu is a bit limited. The Sky Bar is fun with great views. Staff is really glad you are there and very helpful.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights and it is now our new favorite place to get away! The views from the Penthouse King are breathtaking and attention to detail in the rooms are outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed the Sky Bar, cabana by the pool, and dinner in the Caledonia room. Shout out to Dee, Adrian, and Alisha who provided exceptional service. We will be back again and again, in fact we are booking our next visit now!

My wife suggested Valhalla for a brief birthday escape. Familiar with Innsbruck and Helen, and relatively convenient, I agreed. We booked for my birthday, a Monday. We set a 7pm time in dinning room and golf with a good friend for the following morning after breakfast. From moment of arrival, the tone was set. The staff was friendly and attentive. The hotel was tastefully laid out, clean and just felt right. The pool and cabanas were delightful... the entire package was a twelve out of ten. Very rare to give such praise - yet there it is. With its Scottish theme, and with my wife being Scottish, everything felt authentically like home. Drinks were great. Wife complimented the fish n chips (a first in America). My steak was great. Wine selection abundant and of a high quality... breakfast was equally of a high standard. Having visited Helen for many years, this felt like I had somehow been transported to somewhere very far away from the “Helen vibe”. I never expected that and this was a very pleasant surprise. Value for money was great and we will find another opportunity to return. To the entire staff.... well done and thank you for making my 64th memorable. To the ownership, which I didn’t get the opportunity to meet, thank you for your courage and vision. Keep striving to improve and building out the Valhalla spirit... I see and believe in the potential that is achievable through commitment and effort. So far so good. The secret is in the people. Never forget that.

COVID-19 has made us search in our own backyards for a quick getaway. After a search and because I love wineries, we decided on this adult-only hotel. We picked this hotel because they were taking the pandemic seriously and I felt comfortable with the measures they were taking per the info noted on their website. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and with champagne. The room was clean and charming. The hotel is not far at all from downtown Helen. We also ate at their restaurant on a high floor. Staff were all amazing. The view from the resto was great. We were pleased with our stay and highly recommend the hotel. Oh, make sure to stop at some wineries. We enjoyed Yonah Mountain Vineyards and also went to The Cottage Vineyard. The view at The Cottage is amazing! Both vineyards are in Cleveland, GA which is the next town over from Helen. Enjoy!

We have visited Helen dozens of times over the years but had not heard of this Resort until recently. Now we will make sure we always stay there if rooms are available. We had a bungalow which was a cottage near the golf club. just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The bungalow was huge. Large living room with king bedroom which had a balcony overlooking the golf course. minibar/fridge and coffee maker in the bedroom. Large bath with super shower. The hotel has a bar on the 4th floor with great views but unfortunately it is only open a few hours each day. There is a main bar off the reception that is attached to the restaurant. Our one and only complaint was that it closed pretty early for a weekend night (9PM). This resort is pricey especially for Helen but well worth it.
