I try and stay here when I'm in Atlanta for the convenience of the location and the on-site amenities. However, this was my first post-COVID stay and I was incredibly disappointed. -- Gym and pool were closed. Gyms and pools at other Hilton properties in the state/region are open. -- The only breakfast available was a sandwich. No juice. No water. No coffee. Breakfasts have returned at most other Hilton properties in the area, including hot breakfasts at Hampton Inns and Hilton Garden Inns. Oddly, the sports bar and barber shop were open. Must not be any COVID in those areas! -- No Diamond benefits like drink coupons in lieu of the eliminated benefits and closed lounge. -- No housekeeping for the duration of the stay unless requested. Every-other-day housekeeping has returned to most other properties. -- More than half of the hand sanitizers were empty. The room I was given at check-in was not the room I'd selected using the HHonors app via e-Check-In. The room was fine. The linens were clean and good quality. The TV was sufficient, but the interface was slow and buggy. The thermostat had a mind of its own and often shut off when no motion was detected. I'll look elsewhere when returning to Atlanta as this once-great property has fallen off.

Great hotel, near the airport with a shuttle. Shout out to Gloria at the front desk, who is a superstar! Highly recommend this property. Diamond upgrade, early check in and late check out. Definitely felt valued and comfortable here!

This hotel is just a step behind the curve, but they will catch up! We, the traveling public are back! The shuttle was late to the airport but the driver was nice and apologetic. Plus! My digital key didn’t work at first but a phone call downstairs cleared that up! Plus Finish line sports bar was overwhelmed with business! Plus, for them! Good news, they should seriously hire more people to handle the business! They bought me a glass of wine because they’re slow to serve people and struggling to keep everyone with drinks and food. I have to give a shout out to Magda, she is a real team player! She was working behind the bar but went to help the only man trying to run the kitchen by himself. She later came out to check on her guests at the bar. Kudos🙏

 I stayed at the Atlanta Airport Hilton over the weekend and had an extremely disappointing experience. During a time of covid, in a state where cases are significantly increasing, I would have expected Hilton to go above and beyond to instill confidence, and this property did quite the opposite. It may have been mostly following local guidelines, but I would have expected Hilton to do more. My girlfriend landed at Hartsfield where the shuttle picked her up. The driver had no mask or gloves on, despite interacting with people all day. There was no social distancing in the shuttle as it was full to capacity. I arrived an hour later via car. When I walked in the back entrance from the parking lot, there were about 50 people drinking and smoking outside, with nobody wearing a mask and nobody from the hotel enforcing rules.  During the entire stay, none of the staff wore masks and neither did the patrons, even in common areas. Finally, as a Diamond member, the Hilton website states that I still get breakfast, yet this property did not offer it. I asked and was told they were not doing that. They had a small grab and go cafe and I asked if I could get a credit, and they said no. The manager did offer to comp my parking, but it still doesn't eliminate the fact that their website is not currently defining the perks. This was an extremely disappointing stay and quite honestly, makes me want to try a different chain to see if they are any better because I don't think they could be any worse.

Booked a double queen, was told only two double beds were available at check-in. I insisted on receiving what I reserved and paid for and all of a sudden, it magically came available. Get to my room, hello Double beds. Went back to check-in, the front desk debated with me whether or not I was certain of my observation. Another staff went to the room with me to verify it was in fact double beds. I was moved to another room, problem solved. Another issue was the awful smell of smoke in the hallways. It is a non-smoking hotel however, nearly every hall reeked of the smell. I mentioned it to staff when we walked to the original room I had been placed in and he said he would 'check into it.' The room was clean but the beds were not comfy at all. I'm still sore and hurting from sleeping in that bed for only one night. The room was very quiet considering the proximity to the airport and that's one thing I'd say positive about the place. However, I think it necessary to mention, we stayed on the 9th floor, 2nd room we were moved to, and when getting off the elevator, there was a sign that said, "Sshhh, this floor is good for day sleepers." I didnt see that on the 5th floor. It leads me to believe that this floor may had been designated for nearby airport staff that need a good rest before returning to duty. Doesn't make me feel confident that the rest of the floors get the same privileges.
