We were in town for Fantasy In Lights and we couldn't have picked a more perfect place to stay. This beautiful Victorian home was beautifully decorated for Christmas. This was our first stay in a B&B and we weren't sure what to expect. The owners' Don and Judy were the perfect hosts and we are spoiled now. They asked about food allergies upfront but we had none. Asked how we wanted our eggs cooked. Judy prepared such a wonderful breakfast both mornings. We loved her breakfast cake and pumpkin muffins with maple cream and she cooked the best bacon ever. The guest kitchen was stocked with coffee, teas, popcorn, cookies, and drinks. I loved the little coconut cookies and my daughter loved the peanut butter. They have a DVD player in the rooms and movies to choose from as well as board games and a pool table. The porch had plenty of seating with blankets and a little heater if you needed it. Our room was very clean and cozy. Each room has its own thermostat and bathroom. There were plenty of linens, extra pillows, and blankets if needed. They supplied bath soap and hand soap, as well as hand sanitizer. My 15-year-old daughter was very impressed by everything. She said it was the best place we have ever stayed at and we've stayed at several Disney resorts. It was by far the best place to stay and we are well and truly spoiled.

Found this gem while searching for a place to stay near Callaway Gardens. Really quite lovely, Victorian style furnishings. I stayed in the Holly Room which is decorated for Christmas year-round...the bed was so comfortable! Judy was very pleasant, dressed in a pinafore apron and singing while preparing my breakfast in the kitchen. Great breakfast, beautiful setting, safe and secure, and within walking distance to nearby restaurants and city park. Just a short drive to Callaway Gardens and FDR State Park. I would definitely return, Judy made me feel right at home! She had fresh baked cookies in the guest kitchen, and even prepared a to-go plate of chocolate chip cookies for my granddaughters I was visiting after leaving this beautiful B & B. So many personal touches, lots of beautiful antiques and history in this house, as well as a nice front porch to enjoy some tea, hot or iced.

Holly House of Hamilton was a fantastic experience, all the way around. Owners Don and Judy are the consummate hosts and they treated us like we were the most important guests ever, while also making us feel right at home. The entire house, inside and out, is extremely clean. The side porch has a hammock and slider, and the back porch is an excellent opportunity for bird watching. The inside of the house is Victorian themed, with Christmas trees in every room. Rooms are well decorated and cozy, and each room has its own thermostat. Breakfast is to die for and elegantly served on beautiful china. If you're a picky eater just let Don or Judy know your preferences, but everything they served during our stay was 100% delicious. There is a lot of history in the house and Judy put together a lovely scrapbook that outlines that history. We will definitely be back!

My family has stayed there several times when we visit my in-laws. Judy and Don are so kind and thoughtful. The rooms are clean, spacious and the bed is so comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious and filling. We have access to a fridge, microwave in the guest kitchen and Judy stocks the guest kitchen with cookies, popcorn, drinks. Judy and Don are like family. Thank you Judy and Don!

Our family of 5 stayed at the Holly House to visit Callaway Gardens and Animal Safari. Don and Judy helped to make it one of our best family trips! The room had plenty of space for my teens. I loved that it was clean and had a comfortable mattress. Most importantly, Judy was happy to cater to our crazy schedule and dietary restrictions. It's hard to be 16 and gluten free and Judy just rolled up her sleeves, said "I love a challenge" and made daughter feel welcome with her own special gluten-free cookies, pancakes and biscuits!

Only 10 minutes down the road from Callaway Gardens, this was the perfect overnight stay. The couple that own the B&B are so kind and hospitable and you can tell they take such pride in their home. I notified in advance that I was gluten free and there were delicious chocolate chip cookies waiting for me at check-in and a GF apple cake at breakfast. We were there on Halloween and they made breakfast fun with Halloween themed menu. They even have a little souvenir ornament at checkout. Guest kitchen stocked with teas, coffee, popcorn and cookies. Lots of board games and a pool table. This could be a destination of its own.

We enjoyed a memorable quick get-away the second weekend of February 2023. Hosts, Judy and Don, took such great care of us! We both felt so pampered and comfortable, it was like visiting friends. The Holly House was beautifully decorated for Valentine's Day. We dined on the most delicious home cooked breakfasts. Delectable homemade cookies were always available in the guest kitchen. Sooo good that we could not pick a favorite! Our room, the Walton Romance, was very spacious and appointed with lovely themed decor which made you feel like you were stepping back in time. A true Victorian and historical home filled with wonderful hospitality and holiday themed trees, adorned with so many special ornaments. Took some time to shoot a few rounds of pool in the Military room. The photos posted here do not do this place justice. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy some time on one of their many inviting porches!!

I planned the trip for my girlfriend's Christmas gift adventure. She prefers and experience and memories rather that a present. So we left the panhandle of FL, Pensacola, on a backroad trip that she had absolutely no clue as to where we were headed.
After 5+ hours we arrive at Holly House. Now. I had looked at the traditional hotels with the idea that it was for one night and just a place to lay our heads. Neither one of us have ever stayed at a B&B, so this was going to be our first experience. The look on her face as we pulled on to the property was that of a giddy child. When we entered, we were met in the hallway by one of our hosts, Don. He shook my hand and knew my name without introduction. We were given a tour of the home and the different community rooms available. The home is wonderfully festive for the Christmas season. His wife, Judy, took our order for our breakfast the following morning. Our room was the "Nature Room", located at the back of the house. It was completely quiet from any of the sounds from the front of the house. The room is decorated lively and fun with a bird theme. The house has all of the enjoyable creaks and moans of a house telling you it's story since 1880. Private bathroom is clean and spacious with a double vanity. The bed was comfy and the linens were fresh and cozy.
The breakfast the following morning was absolutely delicious. We shared our meal time with another lovely family from GA. It was such an enjoyable meal with strangers that has been sorely missed during this Covid time. It is just really nice to meet and enjoy new people.
We are now preparing to leave and continue our journey before heading back to Pensacola. I will say that if you ever find yourself in the small town of Hamilton, GA, please make this your choice of lodging. Mr. Don and Ms. Judy have made us feel like one of their family. We cannot thank them enough for their pleasantries and accommodation in their home.

Insurance companies will no longer insure fireplaces in historic homes so sadly our fireplaces feature electric candles which set a warm ambiance in the rooms.
