Sherry was a gracious hostess, worked us in at the last minute, and prepared a beautiful breakfast the next morning. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend a stay at this B&B. The house and grounds were pleasant to explore and we enjoyed our visit to the Blue & Gray Museum and dining in the historic downtown. Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us!
We had an incredible stay at this lovely B&B. The owners are so gracious and friendly! The room was terrific and bed so comfortable. They were all types of amenties provided for our convenience including soft drinks and chocolates. The decor is perfect for an historic inn with antiques and collectibles. It is always a pleasure to visit this inn.
Okay, you would not have expected this in this part of world an awesome place to stay with outstanding hospitality. Candidly getting off the main road to stay here is worth. I shall come again. Heard that trains bothered some... not me... even discovered the world famous wild chickens, you will have to find that out on your own!
Whenever you are traveling to or through South Georgia, be sure and stay at the Dominy-Massee B&B! It is a wonderful home that is owned and run by the descendants of the family that built the home in 1915. The hosts, Sherry and Mark Massee, are such sweet and friendly hosts and make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. I felt like part of the family from the moment we stepped in the door. We had a wonderful night's sleep and the next morning I felt like I was waking up at my grandmother's house (the train whistle was blowing and roosters crowing - what sweet memories). The breakfast was delicious and presented with beautiful southern flair! You will not be disappointed! The town is a beautiful and a real Southern gem. Please tell Sherry and Mark, I sent you!!!…
The Dorminy-Massee House is a beautiful B&B and my husband and I enjoyed our stay there. Sherry and Mark Massee were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable as well. We enjoyed the wonderful breakfasts each morning, and sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch visiting with other family members. I would highly recommend the Dorminy-Massee House. I plan to return.
