This was the most affordable option I found on San Andres, and it ended up being pretty nice. I had my own single room ensuite, and the posada is a bit away from the uber-touristy downtown area. It's just a short walk to anything you'd want to see, but a bit off the beaten path. Also, the people who run...

Authentic experience in a cool/convenient part of San Andrès. Why pay for a more expensive hotel (as we did our first two nights) when you could stay in the comfortable & fun Lizard House. Ernesto was super nice and helpful, and his place has great vibes. They are quick to offer you any recommendations, even about what to buy when...

The owners are very nice and helpful. The room was clean and cleaned every day. We had a good air-conditioning and WiFi in the room was...

At Lizard House you'll be more in contact with the culture of the island and will learn how people in the island live, their routines, food preferences, etc. So, it is...

The best of this place, beside being cheap on a very expensive island, it's the care the owners Ernesto and Marcela (and their son) take of their guests. It's like being at home with your parents. OK, rooms are small and kind of basic, but this is a posada, not a luxury hotel. You get all you need, mainly AC....

Just came back from a trip to Colombia with my husband. We had a great stay at posada lizard house. The owner, Ernesto, and his wife go out of their way to help you in anyway possible. Everyone was friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for people on a budget. I'd definitely stay there...
