Extremely happy choosing this hotel. Great and convenient location out the noise and crowded noisy area. The super PLUS !!! Delicious food like homemade taste, like mom cooking for you. Super clean. Not the super furniture but pretty good, beds comfortable. Wifi is too slow and only available at the lobby. But keep in mind that is in the middle of the Caribbean Sea. All the staff very helpful and friendly.
My family and i stayed in the hotel like 4 days , and i think that is a great experience , room service is fast and the staff oof the hotel was p'retty good , very atentives , the rooms are clean , adn have a great space , then in the nights the hotel do an presentations and activities you have to come this hotel , is fine and beautiful.
Pros: - The location is very central so great if you want to be in/by the main town. And it is not right by the main drag so it is calmer than it would be there. - My room (both times) has been huge, two balconies, bright and clean (each time I had rooms with -01). - The aircon works great. - I found staff very friendly. - The breakfast and dinner buffets are not fancy, but good, varied and plenty of it. Cons: - Friday and Saturday night there can be loud music from outside until around 12 or 1 - I don’t know if a back room would reduce the noise. - there is no pool or beach but the hotel gives you access to other hotels with pool and beach - WiFi Can be patchy but generally does the trick - perhaps a little overpriced for what you get...?
Room 200 whatever stayed 5 minutes stuffy ugly view was unfinished roof dead plants. Bitchy woman on front said ok to change but have to wait 3 hours. 401 was an improvement but bathroom ugly Windows don't close nice patio. Every question at front was met with a sigh and and angry look. They don't like their jobs and they like even less no n Colombian. Restaurant breakfast eat fruit and coffee if you can get served. Dinner was good but not a buffet as they always tell you 1 only and no seconds. I like San Andres but they don't want you so better find a destination that does
My family and I stayed at this hotel the last week of August and we were very impressed by how well the hotel is run. We booked through the app Despegar which included our flights and stay at the hotel with breakfast and dinner included. It was one of the more affordable options so our expectations weren't set very high but Sol Caribe Sea Flower exceed our expectations in all ways. The rooms were very spacious, clean and the mattresses were a dream to sleep on. Staff for the most part was very friendly and accommodating. During one of outings a couple of our hotel towels were taken (not sure if by mistake or on purpose) but after explaining what happened, the manager kindly waived the charges for the towels. Any request or concern was promptly taken care of. As i mentioned, our package include breakfast and dinner and we were all very happy with what was offered. It definitely is not as varied as going to a large all inclusive resort but there was enough to choose from for everyone to be satisfied. The location was also great, just around the corner the main road with all the shops and restaurants, bars etc. and about a 5 minute walk from a gorgeous beach. …
We were just overnighting in San Andres so just needed a hotel reasonably close to the airport with a restaurant. Sol Caribe Sea Flower met those needs. Our breakfast and dinner was included in the hotel price (half board) but there was also the option of full board which would include lunch. The restaurant has a menu but both hotel guests and drop ins preferred the buffet meals with many tasty choices. We were pleasantly surprised that our wine was included in the evening meal. Staff was very helpful. Because we arrived prior to check-in, they stored our luggage and sent us to their sister hotel with a pool. One of the hotel receptionist who spoke reasonable English, even stepped out on the street to direct us, which we truly appreciate. The only small negative for us is the use of a plastic mattress protector on the bed. We don't like the wet feeling from this sheet. Most hotels do not use this type of protector.…
The location of this hotel is very good, only 5 min walk from the beach but still quite. The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. We had breakfast and dinner included and they were excellent, buffet service had plenty of delicious options and the staff were very helpful with my husband's dietary requirement (gluten allergy). In general all the staff were very friendly, excellent costumer service.
The location is cool. The room are big and quite comfy but we have to admit that it is not valuable! I stayed there and had a electric cut for works in the street. No light, no hot water for more than 3 hours. Just a note but no goodwill gesture, nothing. Y paid almost $150 a night with no possibility to take a shower in the morning (quick cold one) and no possibility to charge my laptop, camera etc... Pitty and shame... The service was ok and the food quite good.
We didn't stay at this hotel, but ate there. The food was excellent, the service good, meal came in a timely fashion and was hot. The atmosphere was nice as was the price. The location was good too--just off the beach.
The hotel is very well located in the centre. Clean and nice staff. Food is ok but not outstanding or anything special just pain ordinary food. There is ac in the rooms and the rooms are quite big. Beds are big, clean with quite new mattresses. The bath room is rather dark and the shower lacks of a moveable shower head. No pool and Gym. All in all a good hotel for the standards on the island i would rate it the same level as a pension in Germany or Austria 2-3 Stars.
