We stayed here one night, passing through to our final destination. This is just an average hotel. The room was clean and roomy. The breakfast was not good, worse than the average American continental breakfast. Nothing fresh, just pastries and packaged pancakes and cereal. But for the price, the stay was ok overall.

I have stayed in five star hotels the world over. They have many nice amenities. However, my standard for if a hotel is a quality place is simple: is it clean, comfortable, and is the service good. The Mountain Valley Inn is all those things in abundance. If you are looking for a five star resort, you in the wrong...

We were so surprised and happy with this place. First pulling in you dont expect the comfort and cleanliness of it from seeing it for the first time. Overall turned out great until our upstair neighbors began, we were gonna stay for one night but due to our upstairs neighbors we ended up leaving and going home. Our major complaint...

Clean and pleasant room. Nice grassy areas to walk and close to interesting mom and pop diners. Check in was quick and efficient. Smiling staff. Breakfast was simple but the coffee was excellent. Nice and quiet at night. Bed was comfortable, plenty of towels.

I booked this hotel room on Travelocity for a steal: only $65 with tax. The hotel itself seems a little sketchy from the highway, but when I pulled up at 10 pm a few nights ago, it was very clean and well-lit, not to mention decorated with adorable Halloween decorations. The lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful....

This hotel is a little worn and could use some updating, but the rooms were clean, no bugs, very good linens and comfortable beds. The staff were very friendly and helpful. On the drive to Dillard we were running a little later than expected so I called to make sure that there wasn't a cut off time that they would...

What a gem. We weren't sure, but wanted a reasonable price place on our last night of our motorcycle trip. Very nice. Everything in the room works and is a clean place. WI Fi one the best on our trip and A/C was wonderful. Our room was $49 and our room just as good as some of the bigger chains....

Very reasonable price & excellent location are main reason to choose this inn. Nothing fancy, very basic mountain inn without elevator, two stories. Have stayed here twice, once on ground floor and also in second floor room. Each time (a year apart) found worn carpet & furnishings but can see obvious efforts to keep the rooms & bathrooms clean. Can...

I frequently visit Dillard, Scaly Mountain area and I always stay here. Very clean place, quiet and good prices. They even accommodated me nicely in bad weather offering me a dry place to park my Harley, out of the bad weather. Super nice people there. I will return each time I visit... Great little hotel.
