This is about a 4.8 mile hike from the top of Amicalola Falls and well worth the trip. We ventured with two adults and two kids, the kids were 10 and 13, and the adults were 40 and 41. For kids that never hiked before or for those that normally do not hike, expect about a 3.5 hour up and...

My husband and I stayed at the Inn last night. We loved it! After a moderate 5 mile hike from Amicalola Falls- which was harder than I expected (hiking poles would have been helpful), we were excited to see the beautiful Len Foote Hike Inn! Check in was easy and smooth. We were delighted with the accommodations- bunk beds, a...

The Hike Inn is a special place. It is not your everyday hotel or inn. It is not for those seeking luxury accommodations but rather for those seeking a quiet reflective time. There were far more children staying at the Inn this time than the other two times I've been there and it is still a very quiet place. The...

Fantastic 5 mile hike. You can only get to the lodge on foot. Rustic , but comfortable. A hearty family style dinner and huge breakfast are included in the rate. This is one of the greatest places to hike and stay.

I went to the Hike Inn with a friend and we had a great relaxing time. Friendly laid back atmosphere. The food was delicious. We enjoyed hanging out in the Sun Room reading, playing games and doing puzzles. At 7:00pm they had evening entertainment - we loved hearing Patrick's songs and stories. In the morning grab a cup of coffee...

We hiked in on and spent the night (12/2/2016). The weather was fantastic, with great sunshine. We had spent the night at the Falls Lodge and started our trek from there. If you stay at the lodge, you can also park there. I consider the Hike Inn trail moderate and we enjoyed the scenery. This was our first stay a...

We ate breakfast at the lodge before we started, show up before 10:00am, they may or may not sit you down. From there we took the Hike Inn Trail to the Inn. It was 5 miles of fun hiking, If you are not a seasoned hiker like us, (4 Adults and 4 Kids) you can do it in 2.5 hrs....

A nice day hike topped with excellent food and great company. Have done this hike (1-2 night stay) for several years and always found it well run by its most friendly staff. Try a two night stay and take in a hike to Springer Mtn in between.

I have wanted to visit the Len Foote Hike Inn for many years. And, I finally made the trek to see what all the buzz has been about. The hike up to the Inn is about 5+ miles one-way along a somewhat shaded, well-marked path through beautiful trees and occasional vistas. It's rigorous and very manageable - mostly up-and-down hills...

Beautiful fall scenery while hiking in cool weather was wonderful! The Hike Inn was a peaceful place to stay with a chef to prepare dinner when you arrive and breakfast in AM prior to hiking the 5 miles back to Amicalola State Park. We really enjoyed meeting all of the hikers at meal times in a group atmosphere. The mountain...
