#1 of 2 B&Bs / Inns in Dallas
The Ragsdale Inn is a grand southern home constructed in 1905. Built with family in mind from the beautiful wrap around front porch to the spacious parlors and banquet rooms. The Inn is filled with antiques that reflect a timeless era. All rooms have been decorated to bring out the natural charm and character of the Inn. Take a moment to look at the original fireplace mantels and wooden floors. Then wander up the staircase to the second floor and see the original transom doors as well as tongue and groove walls. Owners Fay & Joe Stacknik and Jackie Crum-Slay invite you to experience true southern hospitality and great food. Visiting the Inn is like stepping back in time...

I attended a wedding at the Ragsdale Inn and it was beautiful. The ceremony was outside in a little courtyard and the reception was inside. The food was delicious. This place is very charming. Definitely must check out.

I came to the Ragsdale Inn for my Bridal Luncheon in December of 2018. Jackie was nothing but amazing to work with the entire planning process. We picked the menu and it was a stress free process. I was blown away when I arrived to the cutest B&B, all decorated for Christmas! We felt so special and had plenty of room for brunch and all of the presents that I brought for my bridal party! We felt right at home and truly had such a special time. The presentation and taste of the food was amazing as well. One of my friends needed to stay to use the internet after the luncheon had ended and Jackie was more than accommodating. She even offered to drive her back to the hotel! Jackie was the most pleasant and hospitable person. The Ragsdale Inn is gorgeous and a true gem. Can’t recommend having an event there enough!

I checked into the Ragsdale Inn on Wednesday sept 12. What a welcome surprise this was. The grounds are immaculate and you can tell this is a labor of love for the owners. The entire place is well kept and spotless. The owners always have fresh baked goods and snacks for the guest. Throughout the whole inn are wonderful period antiques and a great porch that wraps around the front for great conversations. The room I stayed in was spotless and had a great home like feel. Who ever makes the beds and freshens the linens obviously wants you to feel special. The home cooked breakfast every day could never be replicated by some bland hotel. This place is a remarkable value with great personality. Fred Blackmar

For over a year my mom looked forward to celebrating her 90th birthday with family and friends. We have a large family with many generations down to a great grandchild, and mom has many friends as well. Mother's remaining 5 siblings were all there to help her celebrate this wonderful occasion! We were expecting over 100 guests. The Ragsdale Inn is spacious enough to accommodate large crowds such as ours with ease. I had used the facility and expert catering services of The Ragsdale Inn staff on several occasions. They came through beautifully this time as well. This was such a special occasion that I wanted and expected everything to be perfect and I knew I would not be disappointed by booking the Ragsdale Inn. The staff was very easy to work with and made some great suggestions about the menu and decorations, for which I was grateful. White wicker tables and matching chairs were set up outside on the beautifully landscaped lawn and spacious porch. A number of tables were also set up inside where the food and drinks were served. One room was used to serve hors d' oeuvres and a beautifully decorated birthday cake and cup cakes. In another room there were large beverage decanters filled with tea, lemonade and water. All drinks were served in stemmed glassware. Many of the guests were senior citizens and were happy to find that the Inn is handicapped accessible. The younger children enjoyed playing on the beautiful lawn. During the two hour celebration the staff was very attentive to the needs of our guests. They allowed us to arrive early and to stay until the last happy guest departed and did not make us feel rushed to leave. I appreciated that the birthday cake was boxed and loaded into our car by the staff. We are looking forward to booking the Ragsdale Inn for mom's 100th birthday, or our next big occasion.

We booked a room for family members and they gave us a very nice response for their nights stay. So much in fact that we decided to stay for the first two nights of our honeymoon. The co-owner Jackie helped us with our reservations, our meals and everything in between. The house is a delight to stay in. The rooms are rustic, comfortable, clean and very cozy. Our stay was relaxing and the amenities were excellent. At night we had pies, coffee and other delights and breakfast meals with a southern flare. Jackie and staff provide everything possible along with a peaceful house and quiet setting. We would recommend staying at the Ragsdale Inn to anyone looking for that quiet but inviting charm of this beautiful southern bed y breakfast.
