This place was the best. It was exactly what we needed. Don took care of us, cooked us the worlds best breakfast, helped set up our wine tour, even took care of transportation, directed us to some close by private waterfalls, and even pulled some strings to get us into an extremely busy restaurant that was completely full, The lodge... Long Mountain Lodge is a hidden gem in the N Georgia mountains where you would not expect a mountain to be so close to the city. My wife and I went for an anniversary and the Host left us chocolate covered strawberries on our bed! Very nice touch. Also the Lodge povides free coffee and cookies every night. We went... More

We are sorry for the problems with the bedding as both issues should have been caught by our housekeeping staff. There was a small dried spot on the blanket, and the problem with the sheets was very likely caused by folding the sheets while they were still a bit damp. As the guest reported this was corrected as soon as... More

Everything about my visit was fantastic! The owners, along with everyone who works there, are delightful, and the lodge is lovely, from top to bottom. My room, which had French doors opening to a patio with gorgeous mountain views, was large and comfy. And did I mention the food?!? Perfection. Every morning...and I was there for a week. Afternoon snacks... More

Dianne is wonderfully accommodating! After the first night we mentioned in passing that we were there to celebrate our anniversary. When we came back later in the day after visiting some wineries in the area there was a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us in the room. The room was spacious and had the usual B... More

It is rare to see such consistent outstanding reviews on TripAdvisor, but Long Mountain Lodge deserves every one of them! From check in to check out every detail was perfection. Dianne, Tim, and Don could not have been more gracious hosts. If you want a "wow" experience, look no farther than LML!

We had a great time at this wonderful lodge in the mountains in Dahloniga, Ga. Dianne and Mitchelll were caring and courteous hosts. They took care of us and make our stay enjoyable. We love the Dahlonega area, but living so close, we'd never stayed the night. This year my husband surprised me with a wonderful stay at this B&B for my birthday. Diane is a gracious hostess! The breakfast was so delicious I had to ask for her recipe. The view from the porch was breathtaking - we saw the sunset behind... More

We made a last minute reservation at the lodge and we could not have been more happy. Everything about this place is clean, romantic and wonderful. The rooms are large, romantic and charming, the grounds are one of a kind, the 3 course breakfast is out of this world, and the hosts and innkeeper are friendly, welcoming and helpful. I... More

We just spent two wonderful nights at this delightful B&B. The location is terrific being 7 miles or so from the Square in Dahlonega, GA, yet is so secluded that you would thing you are in the middle of nowhere! Beautiful views of the mountains from most parts of the building. The rooms are very nice sized and very clean.... More

Our stay was one of the most amazing and wonderful experiences we have ever had at a hotel. The views from our room were gorgeous. We loved having our own entrance and private balcony. We spent our evenings enjoying the sunset over the Blue Ridge Mountains. The views all around are amazing and worth every penny. Breakfast was absolutely delicious.... More
