Our stay was just after 4 inches of torrential rain. During the night, the rain took down a tree and took out power in the near by area. Mary Beth wasn’t phased at all. A gourmet breakfast was served right on time. We were offered a refund on our second night if we wanted to move to another location. We decided to stay and power was restored by the time we returned after our day of roaming the curvy roads of N GA. The accommodations are just what you see on their website. We appreciated the clean, environmentally friendly yurt and common areas. Fred and Mary Beth are great hosts and we enjoyed our morning conversations with them. We would (and hope to) stay with them again.

My best friend and I traveled to Dahlonega for a girls wine weekend. We stayed at Cedar House Inn and it was amazing! The location is convenient to most of the wineries in the area and the Dahlonega square. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming! We were welcomed with fresh baked cookies as soon as we arrived. Our room was quiet and private. It was perfect for two people. We had fresh coffee and a delicious homemade breakfast each morning. I would highly recommend staying here! We are already planning our next trip back to Dahlonega and will definitely be staying at the Cedar House Inn!

I have been meaning to write this from the moment we left after our stay this Valentines but wanted to be sure and give it the attention it deserves. First off I want to say that it is tricky to find and really tucked into nature back off the road. When we entered there were homemade baked goods and chai latte as well as other ast teas waiting for us. Mary Beth and Fred greeted us warmly and showed us to our room. The Cardinal room was super cozy and comfortable. We went into Dahlonega for a nice dinner and the inn was very quiet when we returned. We slept really well. The breakfasts were the best part of our weekend. The care and attention Mary Beth puts into the food is impressive. Everything is made from scratch and super tasty. Somehow we wound up in wonderful conversations with Mary Beth and Fred groups of guests and wound up sitting and chatting the morning away both mornings. The people were a diverse group and it was so enjoyable. We initially picked this place because of its proximity to Monteluce winery since we had planned a dinner there for our anniversary. Ironically the dinner was the most disappointing part of the weekend but it led us to this wonderful little spot so I can’t even be upset about that. We plan to try a yert next time.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Cedar House Inn & Yurts. The room was very comfortable, we had a private bath and entrance, and our hosts were above and beyond accommodating. We awoke to the most delicious homemade breakfast including quiche, veggies, fresh fruit, and toasted banana bread. We also had our fill of coffee before having an amazing hour long conversation with the other guests. It is intimate, personal and unique experience. A home away from home!

My husband and I just spent Valentines weekend with these wonderful people. Their Inn and Yurts is very welcoming. We never stayed in a Yurt before and live to try new things. This was one for the books. It was such a cozy place it felt like home. Mary Beth has a magic hand when it comes to cooking and she doesn’t make your everyday breakfast it’s things you don’t normally just throw together for breakfast and every last bite is so amazing. Fred is very Knowledgeable about the area we tried everything he suggested and it made for a great weekend. They are very professional but yet very welcoming made conversations feel like we had known them for ever. I own a salon and will be recommending their place to all of my clients. This was a grade A get away and we look forward to booking with them again in the near future. Thanks again for a wonderful stress free get away it means the world to us.
