We had a wonderful time. We stayed in cabin 6. It was cute and cozy and close to everything we wanted to see. The complex was beautiful. We enjoyed watching the deer from our cabin in the mornings and evenings. The only down side was the worn out mattress. We did not sleep well.
Absolutely beautiful piece of property. We were five couples and had a wonderful time. Cabins are clean and well stocked. Julie was very accommodating and pleasant. We are returning next year. If you’re touring wine country this is the perfect place to stay.
Perfect little getaway. Great location. Only 30 minute drive to parks and trailheads Very clean and cozy with great view from the deck. Will definitely stay here again. Owner was readily available when we had a question. Lynne B
I arrived on Monday, Oct 26th. Sometime during the night of the 27th, we had a horrible storm and the power went out. It was out until Oct 31st. I still enjoyed my stay. Hot water, flashlights, and a grill was all I needed. I sat on the porch swing reading enjoying my peace and quiet. This was my second visit and I will definitely be back! This place is so awesome!!!! I love it!
Julie was a pleasure to work with. She went above and beyond to provide great service when circumstances out of our control forced a change in our reservation. Will definitely consider Cavender Creek for our next getaway.
Beautiful cabins .. These cabins were built with love and high end materials. Cabin is very cozy and equipped with every thing. VERY CLEAN not to far from town but in a wooded setting. Creeks, pond and hot tubs. We will be back..
We heard about Cavender Creek Cabin from a friend, and it is truly the best kept secret in the area. We stayed in Cabin 7 and it was like Goldilocks...just right! The view of the creek from the porch and hot tub was serene and the physical setting made you feel like you were the only ones in the mountains for miles. WiFi and lots of channel choices meant the surfing and tv-time were effortless, yet the cabin also screamed “unplug” with walking sticks and easy creek access down the porch steps. Great restaurants were less than 10 minutes away. Day-tripping for waterfall or lake hiking was a 10-30 minute drive and easy, scenic roadways were amazing. The geek had museum and mine tours and the health nut had hikes, all in one place....Wow! The cabin’s fireplace and heater allowed for perfect toastiness and the open feel was homey and welcoming. Clean and equipped, we wanted for nothing. If you need the five star hotel mattress, this cabin is not it. This did not keep us from enjoying our stay. Ample outlets to charge phones and everything in a logical place-it felt like home from the first minute. You can’t manufacture how a place feels, it just does!…
If you're looking for a peaceful hideaway that many people don't know exist, TUTTHILL FARMS DAHLONEGA is the place for you. It is a beautiful home with the most amazing mountain view. I could stay here forever. The best kept secret in Dahlonega is Tutthill Farms!! Thank you Julie Merck Williams and Jules Mountain Rentals for accommodating us with this wonderful place at the last minute. You are the best...
Couldn’t have found a nicer spot! We stayed in Cabin 7 which was so serene with the woods and the sound of the creek. The cabin was extremely clean and nicely decorated. Julie was very accommodating and pleasant to work with. Will definitely be back!
We stayed in cabin #6. It was very clean and comfortable. Julie was easy to work with. This is a very nice place. The only tip that I feel that I should mention is that if you are a larger person then you may should rent one of the other cabins instead of #6. The reason is because of the toilet area. It is in an alcove that is only 23 inches wide, It is too small a space. Everything else was great!
