At first, I was little skeptical to stay here after reading all the reviews but when i checked in I asked to see the room first and I was happy with the room. It had new laminated floor which was nice touch for this kind of hotel, had a new paint smell and best part was flat screen TV. I... More

Pealing paint, burned carpets, 7 TV channels, can't get on wifi, stained bedding and furniture, outdated and shabby but ok it's for one night. Until the cockroach crawled across the bedding while I was in bed watching TV. Traveled here from Colorado to watch my son graduate Army Boot Camp and been awake 33 hours so I'm stuck here for... This Econolodge was one of the worst I have used. On the positive side the location is great. You can walk most of downtown and the Riverwalk. The city is very pretty, quiet (college was out for summer) and close to interesting sites. The hotel looks good from outside. Has lovely breakfast room but very poor food. Our room was... More

The room was not kept up. It was dirty, tv could of been updated, Walls and ceiling needs repairing. There was an empty can of beer in the drawer of the dresser. Bathroom was filthy. There was short curly hair on one of the bath towels. The outlet behind the microwave and mini fridge had a few appliances plugged into it... More

The room was dirty and had a terrible odor, they tried to give me another room, and that one was as bad as the first one. The only thing that they did do right was to give me a refund for three of the four nights that I had prepaid, so that I was able to find other accommodations, it... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. It was in the "Historic District."(meaning in the older part of the city). This hotel has certainly seen better days. I did notice peeling paint on the exterior. However, our room was clean. The bed was comfortable. We had a microwave and mini-fridge. The front desk help was pleasant--giving us easy-to-follow directions on navigating... More

We booked here because it was last minute & we would only be here long enough to get a few hours of sleep. It was a part of the Choice Hotel chain that we are a member of and inexpensive. HUGE mistake. The place was filty, mildy, smelly, just disgusting. The price was inexpensive but still overpriced for what we... More

Stayed here one night. Enough!!! Every aspect of this place was filthy. Chair was soiled, curtains even had muscus on them. Disgusting. The outside stairs were just as disgusting as inside. We should have gotten our money back and kept on going.
