It was a pure coincidence we met Argyriou wine in Santorini in summer 2015 and our heart leaded us to the heart of the winery at Argyriou wine tasting guesthouse.
It is a must in life not only to taste the classy wine but to try the chic guesthouse

Been here for the end of summer- end of August. Didnt know what exactly to expect. What I found was a very stylish traditional guest house (country style at its finest), with a very friendly welcoming by Mrs. Fani. The breakfast is excellent with eggs from neighbour chickens, home made cakes, fruit and a lot of smiles and positive energy from the hosts. The wines of the owner are definitely worth testing and we actually found a taste that we really enjoyed. Rooms are very clean. There is room for improvement in the area of wine experience but overall a very good choice for a quite relaxing excursion. And a bonus tip: must visit pavliani and take the walk!

We have spent 4 wonderful days in Argyriou guesthouse in beautiful Polydrosos. From the moment we arrived with my family there, we felt the genuine hospitality of Mrs.Fani (who immediately offered us two umbrellas as it was raining during our baggage unloading from the car). The place is truly special, with fine country-side decoration, spacious and super-clean rooms, a relaxing lobby and terrace, a great cellar and an incredibly rich yet traditional breakfast. Of course, the wine-tasting (carried by knowledgable and enthusiastic Miss Despoina) was a unique experience as well. Big bravo for the authenticity and the generous hospitality. We felt we were hosted by friends! and we definitely want to come back.

In a couple hours from Athens, it is a very cosy place to stay, hidden in the old traditional quiet yard, making you feel like at home. Wonderful hospitality and wine tasting in the old cellar.I certainly recommend it to the ones loving nature and skiing.

I just couldn't believe when a I arrived! Such a cute place! Then I met the owners, the sweetest family (Depi and Boni, daughter and mother). The guest house is adorable, full of little details, so filled with love. Breakfast is homemade. The wine tasting was delicious. A simple unforgettable moment! I would travel all over the world again to feel the surprise I had again.

We had booked a wine tasting. While I was booking I asked if the winery is visitable and they said "yes" ! They also didn't say a word about the cost!! (Also on their web site there is no reference for wine tasting cost!)
When we arrived (in a host house - let's say a boutique hotel), a very warm person (Mrs. Anna) welcome as and explain that the winery is not yet visitable (will be ready next year!!) and we will make the tasting in the hotel... !!
After a very short (about 5 min) presentation of the winery and the wine varieties they produce, we start the tasting. When we start Mrs. Anna explained to us that almost half of their varieties were not available for the tasting. We said "ok"and we proceeded with the tasting of the rest of their brands .
After almost 45 min, we completed the tasting and (us is usual) we wanted to buy some bottles to take with us. Thus, we ordered 20 bottles (an order value of more than 250€)
When we paid, we realised that they had changed us additionally 18€ per person for the tasting!!!
We think it has unfair! And it happened for the first time (we do wine tastings the last 15 years in Greek wineries and nobody has charged us !!). The quality of the wines and their taste were on average! The service also. Good to visit but carefully.....

It's a beautiful place to stay. Very warm welcome, good beds, nice and clean room and tasteful breakfast. You can sit outside under a roof.
And the wine of the estate: top! (and try to visit the winery, a nice extra)

A very nice hotel with only 6 rooms , beautiful decorated ,3 in the basement and 3 in the 1st floor which one of them has a fire place. In the middle there is a place like a small square where we use to have coffee and at night time have a nice wine
In the lower basement there is a winery with a lot of nice wines where you can test before order. All rooms were booked from friend couples, really nice place
