I love this place! This was our third visit. The rooms are clean, the restaurant meals are very good. The indoor pool is lovely. I havent been.in the outdoor pool yet. Glenda at the Spa will ensure you have a relaxing, pampering visit. They say the golf course is one of the best. Cannot wait to go back!

This is supposed to be a country club. As far as rooms they are more like old country motel rooms although a bit larger. Feels a bit dated and needing a sprucing up. The property itself is beautiful rolling greenery with nice views. The golf course is beautiful. About 60 pp for fees. Restaurant only used once for the included...

We just enjoyed a wonderful stay at Kingwood! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental, good for what it is. The spa is beautiful, with wonderful staff. The front desk went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful and relaxing. The hiking trail is great and quick leads to a very nice waterfall. The rooms are...

The good: beautiful outside, great mountain view. Spa and pool were awesome-Glenda was amazing-thx Glenda-as you were the only person that made us feel welcome there. The bad: Probably the worst management staff I have ever seen in a hotel. We had the misfortune of staying next to a room with a dog who barked incessantly-he basically never stopped the...

We visited Kingwood Resort March 4-7 2017. I will qualify this review by admitting we visited in the off season, during a time they were renovating the restaurant and club house. We found this resort to be clean and the staff to be friendly but the "resort" label to be a stretch. This resort is stuck in the 80's and...

Our room was clean although the sliding glass door had a film on. ( which made it harder to get a good view on a cool day). We did not get the deluxe breakfast..despite being there on the weekend. The reason given that weekend seemed legit. The whirlpool in the spa was a nice place to go after a hike...

The room was comfortable and spacious. It had a large balcony and a wonderful view. The pool was large and the water was perfect. They also have saunas and whirlpools you can use. The dining room was amazing with large windows overlooking beautiful surroundings. The Breakfast buffet was amazing and all the staff were wonderful!!!!!

My girlfriend and I vacationed in Clayton last month and stayed one night at the Kingwood Country Club and Resort. Upon arrival we met Melinda and Amanda in the office, two very friendly women who were more than willing to help us plan out our evening. Amanda gave us a run down, complete with a map, of what we could...

Close to Atlanta (approx. 2 hours north), Kingwood Resort is a great, quick family getaway. We reserved two rooms: one with a king bed (2 adults) and one with 2 queen beds (3 kids). The rooms are spacious and have a deck. The rooms are a bit dated but had all the amenities we require: clean bathroom, comfortable bed, coffee...
