#3 of 7 B&Bs / Inns in Clayton
The Parker Ranch is a welcoming rustic lodge built in 1907. We offer wonderfully simple rooms with private baths. The tall ceilings and the bead board construction are reminiscent of simpler times. We have a beautiful oak-paneled living room with a huge fireplace where you may read or watch your favorite TV show. Although we are just over a mile from downtown Clayton, we are on 6 secluded acres.

We spent the weekend here for a work retreat and it was amazing! The owners are SO awesome and made us feel right at home. The lodge, rooms, and cabins were so charming and cozy with great views. We used the Gatehouse for all our work retreat activities and it was the perfect size. The owners drove us to and from downtown which was such a great perk and helped us avoid parking and driving pains. We had breakfast and lunch everyday at the Ranch, and they were delicious. The meals were so abundant we never left hungry. Thanks for such an awesome retreat - We loved every minute!

We absolutely love this place it was perfect for our Christmas and we ended up getting snow. After searching high and low I found a review of this place and I contacted them Miss Becky and Miss Paula were so accommodating and they helped us make special Christmas Memories during this pandemic we had bonfire we were able to bring in a tree we visited other local Christmas towns the welcome basket was so beautiful we just love this place we will be back again. It's perfect for a wedding girlfriend getaway, family trip, couples trip, you name it it was wonderful. If you like rustic and Farmhouse this is the place we didn't get to experience the breakfast buffet due to the pandemic but in spite of that everything was still perfect.

Had a wonderful 3 night stay at this quaint B&B. Becky, Paula & Penny are great and accommodating hosts. Peaceful setting yet convenient to everything. Very affordable. Breakfast and coffee was served promptly every morning and was very good. All precautions were taken to make to avoid the spread of Covid. Highly recommend!

My wife and I looked for a place to celebrate our anniversary during this COVID-19 pandemic and found the perfect spot. The owners of Parker Ranch went out of their way to make sure our stay was safe and they were super accommodating. Located on the edge of Clayton city limits, the ranch house is far enough off the road to ensure peace and quiet during your stay. Parker Ranch is close to all the restaurants and shopping in Clayton and is 20 minutes from the area lakes. Our room was clean and the air conditioning made for comfortable sleeping. The 100+ year old ranch house is full of character. It has high ceilings inside and out with porches that surround the perimeter. It is all designed to compliment its mountain surroundings. Each morning we were treated to a creative and delicious breakfast that was prepared in advance and left waiting for us in the guest dining room. We highly recommend the Parker Ranch to anyone looking for a quiet retreat.

I stayed at Parker Ranch for a long weekend in June. This was a group of friends who regularly travel together and Parker Ranch was perfect for us! Hosts Becky and Paula were very gracious and accommodating and have made Many adjustments in light of current COVID concerns. The rooms and common areas evoke memories of a bygone era while being exceptionally maintained for a structure of this age. Abundant rocking chairs and expansive porch space outside of every room further enhance the ability to just relax. Great for groups of friends who want to come together but also have some personal space. We will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend!
