Bed was comfortable, bedroom and bathroom were clean, we had a microwave and mini fridge, lots of TV channels, staff very friendly and helpful, absolutely nothing to complain about. We were just passing through and needed to stop and sleep a few hours. Would stop here again. Nothing fancy but nothing fancy needed.

Not many options in Clayton. We had just finished a long drive from down-state South Carolina and needed to get off the road. Check-in was friendly. The price was $60 USD including tax. Bed was fine, as were the pillows. A great flat screen TV. Bathroom was immaculate. Breakfast was coffee and a sweet roll. Good value for the money,...

This motel needs updating. Towels were worn, thin and small. Toilet seat was broken. Door to the room barely closed; the deadbolt was defective! I could hear the man in the next room snoring. But for the price I paid it was OK. The motel clerk (Nancy) was friendly and helped me buy printing out my boarding pass with her...

The room was a great deal, room was clean, service was friendly, beds comfy but room 111 was very musty smelling (had to get Damp-rid to get rid of the smell), it smelled like cigarette smoke at times even though it was non-smoking room (this may be due in part because the top floor which is smoking, the stairwell isn't...

Location and price can't be beaten. Hana restaurant nearby has great Asian fusion food. Main problems with hotel: no elevator access to second floor and could hear people in adjacent room until late into the night. Minimal breakfast but free decent speed wifi. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would consider staying again if in...

I travel a great deal so I know a good motel/hotel when I see one. This is THE finest I have ever stayed in no matter where I go. I have many business contacts who visit us as well as relatives and I always put them in the Clayton motel. The cleanliness and wonderful staff give the traveler a wonderful...

I stayed here with a friend on Nov. 4th, 1 night, while we visited the Tallulah Gorge and Minnehaha Falls. The beds were very comfortable, rooms were very clean. The only down side was the stairs to the second floor, no elevator, if you have any physical issues with hauling luggage or walking, ask for a ground floor room. Several...

We have stayed often because we love the area. This visit was not without its problems. The room was super clean but my husband had to go to the office as I was horrified to find poop on the outside of the toilet that was left un-noticed by the maid from previous guests. This was also the first time we...

The room was very clean and beds were comfy. Don't let the fact that it is small sway you away. We are late risers so can not comment on breakfast. If you have difficulty climbing stairs ask for a 1st floor room. They are a bit steep for anyone with knee or back issues.

I have stayed there twice. The rooms were clean, had a refrigerator and microwave. Access for second floor could have been better. No elevator at entrance to 2nd floor, but I didn't look around for one either. Parking was easy. Reasonable price. Friendly helpful staff. 2nd Floor room was a little light on insulation. Would stay there again with no...
