The Inn was a lucky find on Google search on short notice. I love the history of this 1916 Inn. The Owners have put their hearts and souls into EVERY Detail and it shows. Modern comfort & conveniences but with the character of yesteryear! The wine, the food and the conversation was so enjoyable. My husband and I will surely...

My friend and I were looking for a place to have a girl's weekend getaway, and found the Beechwood Inn on line. We spent three days and two nights there and it was simply fantastic! We stayed in the Blueberry Cabin, which was great. Not only was it really nice and pretty, but being a little removed from the main...

Yes, our Blueberry Cabin offers great comfort and a little seclusion from the rest of the inn. I am pleased you noticed our attention to detail - that is mostly the work of my wife Gayle. She gets credit for thinking of details like warm coffee mugs each morning and keeping the cookie jar filled with fresh Ginger Snaps. Yes,...

Our three-night stay couldn't have been nicer. Our room, the Rabun Suite, was very large and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the fireplace and the balcony, which had a great view. Each breakfast was exquisite. We enjoyed chatting with other guests and good wine during the evening wine-thirties. Can't say enough great things about John Bradley, the general manager. He's not...

Yes, John our General Manager knows fishing in our North Georgia Mountains. We are pleased you enjoyed conversation with him on the best things to do while in our corner of Georgia, and that he delighted you with a delicious breakfast. I will pass on to John your thanks and appreciation. David Darugh

You will enjoy all this B&B has to offer. The food is prepared by the chef/owner. His knowledge of wine is extensive and the wine cellar will bring a smile to your face. Whether relaxing on the extensive porch or walking the grounds, you're sure to unwind.

Very comfortable room and fabulous sheets and bed. Excellent breakfast and hosts. John did a great job in making guests feel comfortable, lighting the gas logs in the living room. Excellent suggestions on local side trips to see.

I was supposed to spend a four day weekend with 6 of my girlfriends at the Beechwood Inn, but that did not work out. So I decided to make the trip on my own, and I do not regret making that decision. I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Beechwood Inn. David and Gayle are the perfect hosts. They make everyone...

In general we enjoyed our stay at the The Beechwood Inn. It is a very nice, older facility with typical B & B amenities and good service. We do have some specific comments regarding the Blueberry cabin, and a couple about the inn in general. We stay at a many B&Bs, hotels, and resorts of varying prices all over the...

We stayed in the Nantahala, which had a remodeled bathroom, a loveseat, a gas fireplace and a comfortable Queen bed with terrific 600-thread count sheets. Dave, the innkeeper, is very knowledgeable about wines and also gives cooking classes- a true Renaissance man! The hundred year-old building is charming, all the way down to its slightly sloping floors! Breakfasts are wonderful....

Yes, the Nantahala Suite is one of my favorites. We try hard to keep our 100 year old building (Circa 1916) appropriately rustic yet modern as well. We just finished remodeling 15 bathrooms over three years. Glad you liked your in the Nantahala Suite. David Darugh/Innkeeper

We had a wonderful October weekend here. The accomadations are lovely. Wine-thirty every evening on the front porch with their own wine and appetizers. Breakfast is delicious and generous. We also enjoyed the wild game dinner on Saturday night- that was one great meal! It comes with explanations of the food sources - all local- and good wine.

Beechwood Inn was everything that a Bed andBreakfast should be. The Inn itself is charming. There is a warm friendly atmosphere, and wine thirty was a wonderful experience. We got to chat with fellow guests and I found delightful. The food was excellent! The beds most comfortable!

Yes, a cozy bed and breakfast should offer a great breakfast and wonderful beds. My wife Gayle is responsible for those wonderful 600 thread count sheets. We are in the hospitality business and thrilled you enjoyed the inn's "warm and friendly atmosphere." David Darugh/Innkeeper
