The grounds and house are beautiful and if you like walking in the woods you can't ask for a better location. It is just across the street from the Allatoona Pass area with great wooded trails to wonder through that have history. Our bed was very comfortable and the train really was not an issue for us.

My husband and I stayed at the Lake Allatoona Inn on our way to Florida. I am so happy I found this delightful gem while doing an internet search. We were warmly welcomed by Lynn who showed us to our lovely room. We stayed in the charming Captain's Room with an extremely comfortable king bed. As we were the only... More

My husband and I spent a long weekend (3 nights) at the Lake Allatoona Inn and cannot wait to return. Our room was clean and had a HUGE bed and an amazing heated jetted tub! Lynn was the perfect host and the breakfasts were served on time and were delicious! We stayed over valentines day and were surprised with a... More

My significant other and I stayed at the Bed & Breakfast this past weekend. The location was perfect for us as it was convenient to Atlanta, without the frenzy of the city. The room and accommodations were quaint but tastefully elegant. We felt right at home. The owners were very pleasant but not overly intrusive as we've experienced at other... More

I am very upset that anyone can write something that is untrue. First the dog is not considered a service dog by legal definition and I quote from a US site " Although people with PTSD who have a service dog for a physical ... support, or being a companion do not qualify a dog to be a service animal.'... My goal was to stay some place scenic for a getaway from Atlanta. When first looking at the Lake Allatoona Inn website, I was sold by the Victorian house and the fact that Lake Allatoona is just across the road. Wide wrapping Victorian porches to sit, rock and read on are so inviting but bring bug spray if mosquitoes find... More

We stayed here one night returning from vacation in Florida. The home is very beautiful and comfortable. The owners work hard to keep the grounds looking beautiful. The breakfast in the morning was a little late getting served, but was still good. The biggest complaint is the there was a lot of dust in our room and the bathroom was... More

We had a very beautiful outdoor wedding on the grounds of the inn for my daughter. The gazebo area was beautiful with the fall colors and the weather was perfect. Lynn and her family did a great job setting everything up and helping us with all the details. The area they had for the reception was perfect as well. We... More

I surprised my girlfriend with a night stay in the General Coarse's suite. This room was great. The bed was super comfortable, and my girlfriend and I slept better here than we do in our own bed. The room also has access to a nice wrap around balcony that faces the morning sun. But the true highlight of the room... More
