We came during spring break with our two boys and my parents for 5 days. I really wished the pool and splash pad were open. We had several days or hot beautiful weather. Both campsites needed a lot of TLC. Parking pads need to be leveled, and picnic bench is rotted. We didn't realize so many people lived here permanently. They should at least clean up and keep grass cut. It looks trashy. It's not a horrible place but I don't see us coming back.

Response from Great Escapes RV Resorts, Marketing at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park
Responded Sep 11, 2023
We appreciate your feedback about your recent stay during spring break. We understand your disappointment about the pool and splash pad not being open, especially during the hot weather. Your comments regarding the condition of the campsites, including the need for leveling and the state of the picnic bench, are duly noted, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Regarding the permanent residents, we will certainly take your concerns into consideration and address any areas that may need improvement. We're sorry to hear that your overall experience didn't meet your expectations, and we hope that you find a more suitable destination for your future vacations. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.

We were short stay, but sites were metered and pretty full during the week so we assume a lot of folks were long stay. We got a discount and still paid $80 for a narrow lot where we could not even put out awning; unlevel, on dirt with a few pieces of gravel thrown around. Lines running above ground(trip hazard). It was quiet. Folks were friendly. Hookups worked fine. The main office and area was well tended with paved driveway, but the surrounding lots looked like a different campground. Okay, but overpriced for the size and surface condition of the sites.

Apparently new management took over this park this year and I could not say enough good things about this rv resort。It was very family friendly and so much for my kids to do. So many activities as well as the pool. All the staff was very friendly and accommodating and the facilities were very clean. Marie , one of the workers was very friendly and explained all the things the park had to offer. My kids enjoyed seeing yogi bear and participating in gem mining, karaoke, candy bar bingo, movie night, and ceramic painting. This place was very safe and good memories were made. Looking forward to booking another trip here!!!!

First time visit to Yogi Bear Jellystone Park. It was fantastic. My grandkids loved everything about it, from the pool, zip lining, water slide, noice pad, train ride to the indoor activities. Candy bingo was the favorite. The staff was wonderful. This is the cleanest part I've every been to. The grounds are perfect, not even a small piece of paper on the grounds We stayed in a sparkling clean cabin # 71. I will be back & highly recommend this park.

My family and I stayed in a cabin for a few nights and loved the entire experience. The staff was terrific, the grounds were kept up nicely, and everything was clean. I am unsure of her name, but she works in the craft room and is a teacher, and she was so lovely. Our kids loved her and another staff member who had her son with her. If you want a place to enjoy time with your family, this is it. They have different daily activities, the pool, playground, water slide, etc. I think the only thing I would change is the pool was pretty cloudy. It may have been from all of the rain we had, but other than that, everything was excellent.

This was our first trip to a Jellystone Campground! We only spent two nights as we were just passing through, but my kids had a wonderful time at the pool and inflatable water slide. We were lucky enough to have Patrick as a neighbor! His enthusiasm for the campground as well as his delicious homemade doughnuts personalized our stay even more! He is the perfect ambassador for this campground!

This was our first visit to Jellystone. Our grandson had a great time. This weekend was the BBQ cook off. There is all different activities and things for kids of all ages to do. Plus the park employees are great. They are there to help will your needs, something you forgot to bring and any emergency situation. The kids activities are in the middle of the circle campground. We had a flat on our on our Motorhome. Waited for several hours for a Good Sam’s contact and no one ever came out. So a young man at the campground was able to get a person who works in Motorhomes and he came and resolved all the issues concerning the flat tire. Thank you Jellystone for a great spring break for our grandson.

⚠️ All in all, our stay here for a few mths was not ALL a bad experience. However, it was disturbing to see our neighbor's have nightly activity of partying, being routinely vocally loud-cussing, and we witnessed what was believed to be drug sales on multiple occasions. Quite possibly, but unconfirmed...questionable prostitution. This was from a multi unit family with children & where other children from around the park frequented. ⚠️ Not to mention management offered absolutely nothing to change this, given the park should be family friendly in theory by it's name. With countless people riding around in carts acting important, you would think they would enforce a safer environment for children. In our time spent here, it amazes me that apparently we were the only ones who saw this activity or cared. 📢 For record, within the first few days of our stay there, we made earlier on attempts to move, but we got the same song and dance each request made in person or by phone call made. Either no other spaces were available, or that we needed to put down another deposit. That we could not have our rent pro-rated, even though we made avid attempts to move in less than 72 hrs from our initial stay. Note: We could never reach the park manager, only the intrepid gate keeper and messages left were never not once, returned. 📢 💥 God forbid you inconvenience Jellystone staff and have a need that needs to be addressed. 💥 👉 On the positive: The office, pool, and designated areas for children were always kept clean. The laundry facilities and park were always immaculately kept. 👈 👇 👇 👇 🚨 If your looking to stay here, beware ! And if you are looking to RV FT, know that there are other considerably *MORE **AFFORDABLE, more scenically beautiful, are larger spaced, are adequately graveled & leveled, are professionally managed by folks who are eager to assist you & aren't driven by greed via increasing rent and jacked electricity costs-** RV ***PARKS ****WITHIN*****A******30 MILE******RADIUS- 🌟 WHO 🌟 DO 🌟 take pride in their parks!!! Who do actually care for their tenants and community. ❤ Do your research and choose wisely. 🚨

We didn’t realize there were long time renters here. Their sites are not kept neat and clean and made the park look trashy. Lots of pot holes too We stayed here because it seemed like an active campground but it wasn’t. Perhaps that’s because it was march Also weird that we needed a gate code to get in for check in. I looked on all the confirmations but no code. When we called the number listed at the gate we couldn’t get through to a live person. Luckily another camper (or long term resident) came up behind us, got out of the car and entered the code for us. Finally nothing around here so if you plan to sight see be prepared to head towards Atlanta. We asked the staff but they had no recommendations

We USED to stay at this park a few times a year. It was an ok park, not special, but adequate for the price for overnight stays (about $42 with Good Sam discount). We stayed a night in mid Dec, 2021. I booked a night for Jan 2022 and they raised the price over 40% for an inferior dirt site. They also stopped accepting Good Sam discount. The explanation was: The park has new owners who are "GOING TO" invest to improve the park. So they are charging you now for what they are planning to do. This park is not worth $70+ a night. Even if they make the planned improvements.
