Beautiful grounds and exquisite interior surroundings. The food was delicious with hefty portions. The service staff were all great and very responsive to our requests. The atmosphere was so relaxing. We felt safe and secure at all times.
Neal made my experience at château Elan very memorable and made our night. He was very friendly and made sure everything was up to standards and was great. Next time I come I will ask for Neal directly he said he would make mine and my friends night and he lived up to the potential I am very grateful for this experience !! - Rico
The only reason I’m giving this a 5 star is because of some nice staff. The banquet team was awesome I’m so sorry I don’t remember their names but all of them were amazing and attentive. The. The night desk guy, Joe, was the best!!!! He was very attentive and followed up with questions about my stay. The consistency and genuine customer service was a big plus. Last but not least, the maintenance man was awesome too. However, my toilet overflowed and the hotel is very dated and needs a refresh. The pool games have pieces that need to be replaced. Other than that it was great! I won’t pay to stay here again, I would come to eat, drink and visit the nice staff.
This was my first time at this hotel. My expectations were through the roof. The hotel is large but I wasn’t impressed. The rooms reminded me of Fairfield Inn or Hampton Inn. Also, the rooms looked extremely dated and the bathroom was small and it wasn’t a separate shower. It didn’t have a balcony or a couch. The closet was backed up against the bed. I was highly disappointed, especially for the price. The bed was comfortable but that was about it. I could’ve had a better breakfast at the Embassy Suites. I’m sure this place was impressive years ago but for the price, I expected a lot more. The Springhill Suites where I stayed in last month was more impressive. I can’t give this hotel 3 stars because that means that it’s an average exclusive hotel, which it isn’t.
From our time of arrival when we were greeted by the smiling face of the bellsman (Andre) to our departure it was a great experience at Chateau Elan. The hospitalty, food, amenties, ambiance and wine tasting were excellent! The hotel accomations, soaking tub and comfortable bed were absolutely fabulous. We truly enjoyed my husband's birthday weekend at Chateau Elan and look forward to staying there again.
We had a dinner at Versailles . Foods were amazing and very delicious. They have very talented chef Recep. Best hotel in Atlanta Area for sure !!! Perfect gate away for couples . Loved European architecture
This hotel looks beautiful and seemed like the perfect getaway, but it was far from that. We traveled with family and friends to celebrate two birthdays. We booked four rooms in total and spent well over $6,000 combined as a family. We had several issues during our stay that I voiced and brought to the attention of management. To get fully into it we were charged for things we did not receive during dining experiences. We bought many bottles of wine and did not receive the multiple bottle discount, I had to ask for an adjustment to be made after paying. We were charged $70 to slice a birthday cake that we had custom made during a birthday dinner. Our room sheets were not changed for three days after making several requests, our room door was left OPEN while we went to the pool so housekeeping could "clean," all of our belonging could have been stolen during the hours our room door was left open. We are a mixed race family and my sister in-law was asked by a hotel member if she was staying at the Hampton Inn across the street when stating that our room keys were not working properly to access amenities. In addition, I had to make close to 15 phone calls prior to our visit to make reservations for our large group. I was never given a direct number and kept having to call back to the main hotel to be transferred, after 15 calls it was exhausting. We made a birthday breakfast reservation to find out two days before that the restaurant was closed for remodeling and none of my calls were returned to schedule at another restaurant and move the reservation. We also left something by mistake at one of the hotel restaurants and never received a call back or follow up to see if a birthday card with a gift card had been found. It was left on our dining table, so 99% sure a staff member took it to keep. The fact we couldn't get a call back or a follow up was more frustrating than anything. The coffee at the café downstairs was terrible and overpriced, we had to wait 20+ minutes in line and ended up wasting $30. Overall, I'm not impressed by anything we experienced. The hotel lobby was beautiful as well as the building exterior, but not worth what we spent. The room was lack luster, and was not clean. The fact we had to call 2 days in a row to ask for sheets to be changed or the room to be cleaned is ridiculous. And after talking to a manager it still took 5 hours for housekeeping to change sheets. While they provided a credit toward our stay it didn't make up for it. …
The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The staff is excellent! The valet, Corey, was so very kind and the front desk agent, Joe, worked hard to get us a perfect room with a view we'd enjoy. This kicked the trip off with incredible service. At the pool we had the sweetest server, Alyia, who took time to make us feel like we were special visitors. The food was outstanding, but GET RESERVATIONS for dinner. There was no where nice available to eat on Saturday night. I had called and asked ahead of time for nearby suggestions but the staff I spoke to (three people) could not help. We did try their bar but the menu was limited and the bar was loud with football fans yelling constantly, So, worth going back but beware the limitations of on dinner choices. Glad we took cheese and crackers. We ended up creating our own picnic.…
A night at the bourbon bar on our own balcony. Must have been 10 weddings going on. The bourbon-infused common-Terry was hilarious. Lunch at the Marc the next day was equally as entertaining as we attempted to taste all the available grape variations on hand. Our waitress (whose name started was an X) even prayed with us at lunch. The weather was as beautiful as the facilities. We will be back!
