Detailed Reviews
Absolutely a fabulous stay. The Inn is located within walking distance of the everything within the city of Blue Ridge. Definitely felt like a home away from home.
The staff were so friendly and the breakfast each morning was delicious and fresh.
Felt like I was visiting family. Had the opportunity to meet both owners. I truly enjoyed just sitting on the porch in the evening with our bottle of wine and relaxing. They provide wine glasses, wine opener, coffee/tea mugs, and bottled water for guests. All the glasses and mugs are individually wrapped, so only you actually touch it after it's been washed. All the staff walked around with mask on.
We stayed in the Rose Room. Just be advised that the porch light does slightly illuminate the room even with the blinds closed. If you need complete darkness to sleep, bring a eye mask or choose another room. Also, the inn is older, so the walls and floors can be a bit thin. We were able to hear the people above us walking around. Just something to keep in mind.
I look forward to staying here again. I can see this our go to accommodations for any future trips.

We stayed in the Springer room, second floor at the front of the house. Comfortable bed and nice room, would stay there again. We arrived after 6 pm and had arranged ahead of time for the Innkeeper to leave instructions on the back porch, so we never met him but he was nice over the phone. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and they have a new coffee shop going in at the back part of the house. They don’t have their license yet, it was a soft opening while we were there. Easy walking to everything in historic Blue Ridge. The only strange/negative I have is their $12 Covid cleaning fee that is added on to your booking - no mention until you go to check out. First I’ve seen one of these (and we travel a lot). I’m not sure what they do that’s more than normal cleaning, but feel it should be dropped by now or rolled into the standard price.

Great place to stay. My wife and I take a trip each year for a little time away before the Christmas break. We decided to travel to Blue Ridge. We enjoy staying at a Bed and Breakfast and the Blue Ridge Inn did not disappoint. The staff was great, the breakfast was awesome (muffins) and the fellowship with the fellow suitemates made it feel like home. We stayed in the Marilyn Monroe Suite and was greeted with my favorite Red Velvet Cake from the Sweet Shop located in downtown Blue Ridge. Thank you Gene. A walk out of the back door place you into downtown Blue Ridge where you can shop, grab some great food or jump on the Scenic Train. If you need directions to anywhere, the staff will make it simple.
We look forward to another stay at the Inn. Great mini-vacation spot. Kerry and Nicole, December 19-23. Tallahassee, FL

My husband and I visited Blue Ridge for the first time to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We selected the Blue Ridge Inn B & B for its location to downtown Blue Ridge and because of the lovely room photos on their website. They did not disappoint! Our room (the Lighthouse) was roomy and had a view of the train and the downtown shopping district. We were welcomed on arrival by Mark (who really needs to get over his shyness - that's a joke folks). Mark treated us as welcome family and shared many interesting facts about the house and about Blue Ridge. His recommendations for places to eat and things to do were very helpful. On our anniversary he even treated us to surprise cupcakes from The Sweet Shoppe! Our room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. Breakfast was served daily at 8:30a and during our stay we had 3 delicious breakfasts cooked by either Shawn or Jon. Wendy and Cherie also made us feel most welcome and took good care of us. We plan to go back!

What I liked most about the Inn was its location; right across from the train depot. Unfortunately we were only there for a couple of nights as we had reservations for the Fall Scenic Tour and it was our primary reason for choosing the Inn. However the Inn is within walking distance of area shops and restaurants.
The staff is amazing and very informative of the surrounding area, of the different things to do and places to dine. The breakfasts were excellent and plentiful to get you going in the morning. They even provide room service for breakfast which is not common for B&Bs in my experience. We stayed in the Rose Room which is on the ground floor and perfect for a couple. Room was comfortable and very, very clean.
I would love to return for an extended visit and highly recommend the Blue Ridge Inn; you won't be disappointed.

You would never have guessed that the Innkeepers had a major project going on! Unfortunately for them, there was a water leak in the kitchen that went undetected until a lot of damage was done. Fortunately for all the guests, everything went on as usual. The rooms were very clean-as always. They did not service the rooms daily, because of COVID, but would come in if you asked. The breakfasts were outstanding!! I have had really good quiche in the past, but this was exceptional quiche. The breakfast are full meals-not continental. And, on our last morning, they served cupcakes because so many of the guests had September birthdays. The Innkeepers truly make you feel welcomed and they go over and beyond what is expected.
We were the first guests to stay in the Grand Spa. The soaking tub is amazing.
We will be going back-hopefully in the spring!

Thank you Kay. We greatly appreciate your review. I am very pleased to hear that our staff made your stay pleasant, and you enjoyed the quiche. We do take pride in catering to our guests’ needs the best way we can whether it's attentive service, full service breakfast or recognizing our guests birthdays. We're so glad that you enjoyed the new Grande Spa Suite. This was our most recent renovation that totally transformed that room into a spa-inspired suite. We look forward to welcoming you back in the Spring.

The Blue Ridge Inn is a really characterful and charming hotel located in the heart of the picturesque town of Blue Ridge. An historic building, entering the B & B via the efficient contactless check-in is like going back in time. The common rooms are packed with interesting artefacts and antiques and it would be easy to spend hours just browsing.
The common facilities are excellent, with provision for tea and coffee-making in the downstairs kitchen and also use of a guest fridge. There are also two guest lounges and if the weather is warm enough, access to two outside sitting areas equipped with rocking chairs. The bedrooms are large enough and well-furnished with very comfortable beds.
Breakfast is served at a set hour (9.00) with guests seated at two large tables. I quite liked this as it encourages guests to mix, linger and chat rather than dash off. The food was very wholesome and fresh muffins seem to be served every morning.
During our stay we met several of the staff and also the proprietor. All were very friendly and helpful.
Although Blue Ridge was quiet when we visited, no doubt it gets very busy in the summer, especially when the train is running. The B & B has designated parking spaces for its guests; an absolute boon I should think, when parking in the town is at a real premium.
I would wholeheartedly recommend the Blue Ridge Inn B & B. It may not be the cheapest place to stay in town, but the ambience and charm make it a far more attractive proposition than the bland offerings of corporate hotel chains. Hang the expense, give yourself a real treat!

It's not common that my husband & I spend $250+ a night for a hotel room but we decided to splurge for our anniversary. We stayed in the Grande Spa Suite with a porch that overlooks the parking lot & backs up to the dumpster of a restaurant with torn privacy drapes. The towels were old & of poor quality & the 2 breakfasts we had could have been on the free buffet at the Holiday Inn.
We had an issue getting the TV to work so Jon, the owner came over to help but couldn't figure it out so asked his partner Gene to come in & help. He also couldn't help us & before they left I pointed out a broken blind in the room & Gene walked out & told me to "Go Back To Florida." We don't live in Florida so perhaps that lets you know how he feels about Floridians!
The manager on duty, Shawn was very accommodating & helpful. The best part of the suite was the bathroom, the robes & the lounging tub.
Definitely an expensive & disappointing experience.

We don't normal spend this much for a room, but the location is worth every penny. It was so neat staying in the oldest place in Blue Ridge. We had the Marilyn Monroe room and it didn't disappoint. The bathroom was so modern and the bed was super comfortable. The electric fireplace made the room snuggly warm. The breakfast was to die for too! Eggs, fresh fruit, fresh OJ, coffee, sausage patties, hashbrown casserole (double yum), and a fresh biscuit was just what we needed to get our day rolling in the N. GA mountains. Do your self a favor and stay here. It's right in front of the train and maybe 2 blocks from the strip of shops and restaurants in Blue Ridge. What a wonderful surprise!

Our recent stay at the Blue Ridge Inn was nothing short of fabulous. We stayed in the Appalachian Suite which provided us with a separate entrance and our own porch. After a full day of exploring Blue Ridge we were able to come back to our room and relax as if we were at home. It was lovely.
The Inn is located in the heart of town and it was so great to be able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The Mountain Mama Coffee Shop had recently opened and due to its location between the main house and our suite we were able to smell the coffee brewing each morning! The staff at the Inn were friendly and helpful. We will definitely recommend Blue Ridge Inn to anyone visiting Blue Ridge, Georgia!
