We loved our stay! Bonnie and Paul are attentive hosts, yet we had plenty of autonomy and privacy. Their special touches made the get-away even better. Lots of nearby hiking opportunities if you enjoy the outdoors. A nice wine store in town if you prefer relaxing on a screened in back porch at the house. There is always a pot of coffee and fresh baked treats!

Bonnie and Paul are the salt of the Earth. They are thoughtful, kind, caring, intelligent, interesting, helpful and above and beyond what you’d expect regarding everything they do for you. The value is impossible to explain. Nice dishes not paper plates, well thought out meals, nothing is overlooked. This husband and wife team bring years of “old school” values to their modern B and B in ways that I’ve never experienced. 2 types of coffee is always ready for you. I’m on day four and just realized this… you wake up to the amazing smell of Paul’s multi item breakfast, and at it starts to fade away around 10 am, new delightful aromas replace the as lunch is set out and dinner is starting to be made from scratch. Be careful… this place will spoil you wherever life drops you off next. This place is where the bar for all others is set. Hosts 5 stars, food 5 stars. Experience 5 stars. The best part of my entire vacation took place at the dining room table, over and over, day after day. (Subtract the cost of meals and your bed is basically free) I adore these two. They could give classes on how it should be done.…

A++++! Bonnie and Paul treated us like family. Their home is warm and welcoming. It was so peaceful to sit on the screened in porch and relax. We stayed 3 nights and the breakfast was outstanding each morning. Bonnie was sweet and shared her recipes with us. I cannot wait to try and make her quiche!

Paul and Bonnie are amazing hosts - they are warm and inviting, and cater to your every need. This is not your typical B&B.....it is truly like staying at a home. They provide lots of local information to explore Blairsville and the surrounding North GA mountains. And the breakfast was incredible!!

We have been to B&Bs across the country - from Alabama to Maine and from North Carolina to Colorado and South Dakota. Our experience with Bonnie and Paul was one of the best we have ever had. The food was absolutely delicious! Bonnie and Paul were very gracious hosts who made us feel very much at home. The house was beautiful and peaceful. We have already made reservations for the same time next year!!!

Taking a few extra days to unwind and relax before our granddaughters wedding at Enotah Valley Event Center. A very pleasant experience!!! Bonnie and Paul are just precious and so very gracious and kind. Our breakfast meals were exceptional, and it was always nice to sit down with the two of them for great conversation. Our room was plenty spacious, very clean, and we had everything that was needed including our own Htg/AC. Very quiet area during the day and night. , The time spent on the huge outdoor screened porch was amazing. We enjoyed watching the squirrels and there were lots of birds, If you are lucky, you just might get to enjoy Bonnie working on her lessons playing the organ ever so softly, or enjoy watching her work meticulously on her needle point. She has some beautiful pieces. Paul has a woodworking shop and made us a sweet little door sign which we took with us when we left. We loved our stay there, the area, and definitely would like to go back and see more. Jan & Jerry…

We decided to take a quick vacation for three nights and visit Blairsville. We found this B&B and liked it because it said it was in the woods. And it is a beautiful place. But the nicest part about it were the owners. They asked me if I had any food allergies. I was a little hesitant as I know it can be difficult for some non-creative cooks. But, Paul and Bonnie made vegan food for me and non-vegan food for my husband for breakfast each day. We really felt like we were at home and can't wait to return!

... and just what we'd hoped to find! Being active older people and somewhat familiar with the beautiful north Georgia mountains, we searched the internet for a suitable place to stay in the region for 2-3 days, a pleasant place where we could just sit, read and relax—our idea of a good time!!! We looked at a few vacation rentals and motels, but really favored the idea of a bed & breakfast because we liked the concept of being taken care of a bit, having breakfast made for us by our hosts, and the hope of enjoying a bit of human contact with them as part of our vacation. We'd heard that Blairsville was a beautiful little town so looked there and that's how we discovered Your Home in the Woods B&B. Have you explored their website yet? Everything you read there, in our opinion, describes the place perfectly. When we first drove up, the little sign on the front door post—"You're home!"—conveys our exact feeling when Paul and Bonnie came to the door when we knocked. Our tour of the place further confirmed the feeling, "We're home!” We stayed in the Mountain View Room. During our three-day stay not only did Paul and Bonnie prepare a different delicious breakfast for us each morning but they also freely shared many of their interesting life's experiences with us and listened with real interest to some of our own life stories. When breakfast was over each day we did go off into the beautiful countryside to somewhat "see the sights," but our favorite thing was just to return and enjoy the peace and quiet on the expansive back porch, one of the most popular features of this place. To conclude this review, one more thing we think deserves emphasizing. As another reviewer noted in February, Paul and Bonnie describe themselves as "observant (particularly to the needs of their guests) and great listeners." If you read that full review and a sampling of others, we believe you will see that this is a very true description of them. Put another way, they genuinely reach out to each of their guests as friends, and hope that their guests might feel moved to reciprocate. We surely did, and hope Paul and Bonnie feel the same about us!…

Just a delightful experience. We had a family gathering- and a wonderful porch on which to catch up, laugh and rock. The porch is delightful. The hosts are just so warm and accommodating- and ever so interesting too. It is a long drive for us- but we most truly hope to return again .
