We originally thought we might find a unit in the park to buy. The more we looked around the area we changed our minds. Their units are too close together and the monthly fee was higher than others. As it turned out we found a unit elsewhere that we very pleased with.
I'm beyond pleased. Knowledgeable professional, and warm-hearted staff helped find me find the perfect place with ammenities galore. Kudos to Kim and Donna for their kindness. This place is amazing! :)
I have enjoyed Southern Charm for 7 years while travelling in my motorhome. With no desire to look for any other place to stay, I recently bought a park model. Donna, Kim and the office staff are very pleasant and helpful. The maintenance staff, especially Jason and Darryl are fantastic and strive to make the residents happy.
Southern Charm is the best place I have lived in Florida. It's clean and green; never a wait for a tennis court, and the golf in the area is the best. Kim, Donna, Jason and the the rest of the crew keep it going for us.
We have been coming for 5 years with our travel trailer and liked it so much we bought a unit here last season. There are many people that make this park an amazing place to stay: Kim, our manager, is on top of things, runs the park efficiently and has quickly taken care of the few concerns we've ever had. Donna, in the office, is so friendly and efficient, it's always a pleasure to go in there. And Jason, on our maintenance crew, is just a great guy that helps out all over the park and keeps things running smoothly. Probably the greatest thing about the park, though, is the residents. You couldn't ask for a more friendly, helpful, welcoming group of people. From the very first year we've felt welcomed into this large extended family.
Have been here nearly 6 mths, and it has been very nice. The office staff is exceptional......very friendly, very helpful, and very quick to respond to any situation you may have. The maintenance group is very knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt to take care of any problem that may arise. After having looked and looked for a home to buy and not finding what we wanted, we have pretty much decided to look within this resort to purchase a home, either one that is for sale through the resort or a privately owned. Everyone waves to you, so much so my arm is tired. The neighbors like to sit on the porches and chat............its just a real feel good vibe here. Cant wait to buy a home in here, and continue feeling comfortable. HIGHLY recommend.
Returned for the season and park looks beautiful. Had a issue with water when we arrived after hours and Jason with maintenance arrived with a smile . He had it fixed right away. Jason welcomed us back 😁👍 and came back the next morning to make sure everything was ok. Great team in office and maintenance ,glad to be back to our winter home.
For Jason A big thanks to the maintenance grounds crew that work to keep Southern Charm RV Resort looking clean and manicured. A special thanks to Jason one of the most visible workers who is always pleasant, hardworking and helpful, definitely an invaluable worker for all residents and visitors of Southern Charm. Thanks, Chris & Connie
Looked a park models to purchase in Southern Charm RV Resort. Nice park, did not find a park model we wanted to buy. But would recommend visiting Southern Charm RV Resort to short term stay for seasonal stays. Nice ammenitites.
Kay, I recently visited relatives staying at the Settlers Rest R.V. Park and had the great opportunity to play on the pickleball courts in the nearby Southern Charm R.V. Park. I was impressed with the quality of the 6 courts and wanted to commend the decision by the Sun Corporation to invest in a quality recreational amenity shared by the 3 R.V. parks. I live in Colorado, have played pickleball for +5 years and thoroughly enjoyed the experience at the R.V. Park and would consider a return visit due to the presence of the courts. Pickleball is a great addition to the R.V. Park. Installing L.E.D. court lights was also a wise decision in that having them allows for play during the cool of the evening, which I took advantage of. I also noticed many people that were not players but were interested in stopping by to watch the action. I think having access to the courts contributes to a growing sense of community and allows for meeting new people. I also feel the volunteer organizational/ instructional work being done by residents Connie and Chris is highly valuable. They have the passion to introduce to help introduce players to the game and are putting in a lot of personal time. They are helping the park residents to learn the game in a positive manner . By making new players aware of the safety aspects of the game, and an introduction to game fundamentals, Connie and Chris are providing good structure for court use and player etiquette. While it's not unusual at other pickleball court complexes to have conflict arise over court usage and differences in skill levels, Connie and Chris are doing a good job balancing various interests and still promoting a good experience. Even though it's beyond Connie and Chris' control, they are also trying to not alienate the adjacent residents with noise and late night court light usage. These new courts are off to a good start and I hope the culture stays positive. Other communities can only dream of a facility like yours. Thank you, Al…
