Amazing little spot literally in the heart of the action yet far enough so you can sleep. Two beautiful pools. Extra clean, great attention to detail. Will be back. Room is spacious, bed is comfy and comes with all commodities one would expect from an upscale boutique place.
Love this place! Staying two nights gave us time to use the pools, enjoy the comfy bed, and the amenities were perfect! It was easy to check in, easy to find our room and great shops and restaurants were all within walking distance. Highly recommend for singles and couples.
Review Our stay at Inn on the Drive was perfect. The Inn is literally steps away from all of the action in Wilton Manors, yet tucked quietly away. We found the pricing to be very reasonable. The grounds are nicely landscaped and the pools are beautifully lit at night. Check-in/out was super easy, with helpful text messaging from the host. The room was spacious, modern, comfortable and very clean. Overall, we a great experience and will definitely be back!
After some research, we selected this hotel/Inn. It was the best choice we could have made, a Shangra-la and oasis, (literally) around the corner from everything! Great atmosphere, excellent hosts, a great pool and nice fellow guests! Just a walk to the nearby clubs, restaurants, etc., but a quiet and cozy oasis upon return. Thanks Buck and your team! We'll be back when in Wilton Manors & Ft. Lauderdale, James & Terry
The property, location, amenities, and heated pools speak for themselves. But the hospitality that was met with it was out of this world. I felt like family and was well taken care of by the host and staff. I had such a fun, relaxing, freeing experience during my four days here. I won’t be looking for any other places to stay during my next visits, This is THE ONE! ❤️🧡💛💚💙🏝🤙🏼🥰
I recently stayed at this property for two evenings at the end of October. Before I get into everything that was wrong with the property, I will start on a positive note that the place has a very central location, if you want to be right in the middle of many of the bars and restaurants off the main strip. Wilton Manors is not really all that big, so in hindsight, I am not sure just how important that really is when compared to some of the issues that I encountered during my stay. First of all, many of the past reviews are absolutely glowing. I subsequently learned that this property is under relatively new management so it may not be fair to judge the current business operations on past reviews. Upon arrival, there was no one at the office. This is not a very big property, but it was around check in time and there was no one there. There was also another guest simply waiting at the locked door as well. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I called the main number and the person that answered told me to hold on and that he would come and get me. Soon after, one of the managers/owners came out and greeted us, and we followed him to the building next door. The check in was a tad awkward as it appeared that he was checking us in at his home rather than the office. The place was quite untidy (unmade bed, etc.). It really gave me the creeps. This was the first sign that I thought......uh oh. Strike one. Once we were checked in, he showed us to our room. There were two locked gates. He gave us one key for the first gate, and promised to give us another key for the second gate, which we never received. Strike two. We were then shown to our room, which was small, and bit dated. The room could have used a fresh coat of paint; the outside of the building as well. It was all acceptable, but not very memorable in the least. From the glowing reviews that I had read, I simply expected more. Once settled, my guest and I headed to the pool area, which had two small pools and some seating. It appears that this property had purchased the neighboring property, and the two just flowed into each other. It was odd. Now this is where things went from bad to worse. There were four shady, younger guys who were early 20s sitting around the pool, drinking from a bottle of Grey Goose and smoking weed blasting a boom box playing hard core, ghetto rap; so much for a peaceful stay. They seemed to be quite cozy with the managers/owners. I will not even speculate what was going on there. Given that the hotel obviously caters to a middle aged to older demographic based upon the profile of the other guests, I found it a bit off putting that this type of behavior was allowed to go on. The worst part about this situation is that it went on from early morning into the evening, so this little group was allowed to monopolize the entire pool area during my stay. Strike three. I could go on and on here but the pool area was not regularly cleaned as full ash trays and stray beer bottles were seen from day to day. The sink in my room did not drain properly. There was a lamp with no light bulb in the room. There was no attention to detail whatsoever. In addition, two of the four rooms (thankfully not mine) lost their AC one evening. The room was not cleaned on a daily basis unless you called to request maid service. This last point was attributed to Covid, but I got the sense that it was more of a cost savings than anything else. I think that you get the picture here. Oh and did I mention that the internet, when it worked, totally sucked. Sigh.... I guess that the kicker for me was that the property is advertised as a bed and “breakfast”, except get this.....there was no breakfast. I inquired about this and was told that it was due to Covid. I call absolute B.S. on that excuse. For a management team so worried about Covid, I did not see either of the managers/owners wear a mask during my stay, even at check in. If they truly wanted to do something for their guests, they could have prepared small baskets for each room with pre-wrapped offerings like muffins or fruit, etc. Or they could have worked with local establishments to provide a small credit per guest to be put towards a breakfast off property. They could have even provided some form of discount or in-house credit (drinks, mini-bar, etc.) to make up for the fact that they were not providing breakfast. The fact that there is no breakfast offering is not on their website, and they did not say anything about it at check in. When putting this into consideration with all of the other issues that I encountered, it just left a bad taste in my mouth. The morning that I was checking out, one of the owners approached me on a fly by and told me that he was going to the gym, letting us know that the property was unmanned at that point for the foreseeable future. This meant that there was no opportunity for me to formally checkout, get a receipt or to address the multitude of issues that we had encountered during our stay. After spending some time in Wilton Manors, I did discover nicer properties that were comparably priced. I kick myself for not doing more homework and simply relying on dated reviews; lesson learned. If you are planning a trip to Wilton Manors, I would suggest finding another property. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!…
This place is simply the best location for anyone visiting Wilton Manners. Literally steps away from the main drive, this little piece of paradise gives you the very best of both worlds. Fun on the drive and a nice, relaxing pool and tropical vacation vibe. The pool is amazing and everyone is so kind. It was so much fun to be able to go from the bars the night before to relaxing in the pool with friends and having such a great time. The rooms are clean, modern and a great value! The owners were so kind and took care of literally everything. Overall my experience was incredible and I would so recommend this place to either first time visitors of Wilton or people looking for something new.
This cute stunning inn is literally right in the heart of Wilton Manner. All stores, bars , restaurants are 3-5 min walk away. Beach’s 12 min drive. The GM, Back, is super friendly and accommodative. All rooms are exceptionally clean and stocked with all necessary bath stuff .
