Over the last 40 years my fishing chum and I have travelled far and wide and stayed at many B&B/Guest houses. Along with the Headdon in Holsworthy (already reviewed), this place ranks with the very best. There is really nothing to find fault with and much to praise. When arriving for the first time, still in our fishing attire, and...

Tarka House exceeded expectations- quiet comfortable rooms, immaculate en suite and lovely extras: tea and fresh milk, snacks, flowers etc. Wonderful breakfast, very helpful owners. The location is convenient for exploring the arra and the pub next door does wonderful food in the evenings.

Carol and I were both thrilled to bits by the care and thought that Paul and Kathy have put into this B&B. There were so many well thought about extras on top of quality rooms and extravagant meals, All this plus service with a genuine smile for a price only a few pounds more than a featureless Travelodge. If you're...
