Exactly what we needed to park the trailer and visit local family. All hook ups and sewer and water made it even better. The grounds are well kept and we felt very safe. Thank you we will be back the next time we pass through.

Nice people, flat sites, large recreation room with pool, ping pong, foosball, etc. The place is nice and quiet most of the week and has some events on the weekends. Music is to be expected on weekend nights until around 11 or midnight. Place is kept clean and has a nice little fishing pond on site. We would definitely stay here again. The internet though is a problem. They say you can get it brought in, but we could not find a company that could do that. We paid for internet through the camp which was okay but not great.

We only camped here on an overnight stop. Our site was fine, nothing special, and the utilities worked as expected. The staff were very nice and the grounds are pretty enough to make the whole place feel quite pleasant. There seemed to be lots of long-stay folks, but everything was clean, orderly and quiet in the evening. We would stay again.

The grass here was so neatly groomed and the staff was friendly. Their monthly rate is unbeatable! We stayed here for 2 months and really enjoyed our stay. I loved how quiet it was here and loved the vegetation everywhere. The propane rate here is one of the cheapest that I have seen.

STAFF: The staff here are very nice. The maintenance staff is also seen around the campground daily. They take care of the plantings they have and were leveling out the sites on either side of me when I stayed. Upon checking in they offered me a notebook to look through which had descriptions of local attractions. I wrote down a few things. One of the attractions phone number was out of service when I tried calling it, so not sure how often this notebook is updated. LAUNDRY: Expensive. $2.75 to wash and $1.50 to dry. The laundry room was in the middle of renovations while I visited. They are moving the dryers to an outside wall so they vent better. Everything worked fine. MUSIC HALL: They have a large music hall on site, it was not used while I was there, but there is lots of room for dancing if the music is right. ROADS: The roads in the park are gravel. Not the best, not the worst, a few pot holes. SITE: I had no patio at my site, nor picnic table. Some other sites had one or both. There was only gravel to park on, and my spot was pretty level. While I stayed the week, I watched the spots that were right on the little pond they have. Several sites remained open during my entire stay, I wonder if I had asked at check in if I could have one if I would have been able to. It wasn't a big enough deal for me to ask once I was all set up and then walked around and saw the sites by the water. ATTRACTIONS: There wasn't much worth seeing close. The Waldo Farmer's & Flea Market was not a very nice. It was dirty, lots of empty stalls, but they did have good burgers. There is an antique store in front of the flea market, again, dirty inside. Didn't see anything worth having. Went to the Kanapaha Botanical Gardens, they were okay (and 30 minutes away). You have to go to Gainesville for just about everything, which is 30 minutes. There is a restaurant right in front of the campground, I had the same thing there on 3 different days and was charged a different price each time. Weird. TRAFFIC: It is right off a main highway, so you have highway noise pretty consistently. It also has a gas station in front, which is nice if you want gas, but kind of noisy with all of the truckers using it throughout the night. LIGHTING: They have sufficient street lighting in the park. Always felt safe while I was there as well. ENTRANCE: It is a gated entrance, and the code/gate always worked. WIFI: Free wifi here, which is always appreciated. Not a bad campground, but not a great one either, just kind of average. The staff being so present and nice is always a big plus.
