Me, my wife and 8 month old made this hotel our half way point when traveling out of town. We stayed two separate nights, once on our way out of town and once back. Both nights we were met with lovely staff attendants. The room was clean, cool and well put together. We all slept wonderfully and the shower worked great too. All soaps and shampoos were plentiful. The second night we stayed I had an issue with the remote and the nice woman at the front desk took the time to help explain how it worked there. Breakfast was good, pool was operational but we didn't use it. This hotel is a well run establishment with employees who care. Thank you
We had a great stay. The woman working the front desk at our late check in was great. Room was extremely nice and clean. Quiet nights sleep was definitely needed and delivered. I would definitely stay there again if in the area.
Unfortunately our first room smelled like mold and felt damp. When we reported it to the staff the manager said, " It rained a lot " . We moved to the second floor to a room with no pillows. I called for linens and was told they don't leave them in the room due to Covid. I went to get linens and was told they had no pillows. I insisted they find pillows and she came back with pillows that smelled like women perfume :l Dogs also barking from second floor. :l Save yourself a good nights sleep and $$$
Traveling with a group and was short two beds. They couldn't do enough to straighten it out. Gave us a free room with additional beds!!!!!! Unbelievable !!!!!!! Also the breakfast had home cooked scrambled eggs along with a full selection.
I had book a room for 2 weeks not including the weekend. When i checked in i spoke with the Person at front desk and she book the room for the weekend . Came to the desk to pay for the weekend and no reservations . so i had to go find another hotel for the weekend. Came back to Hotel on Monday and the front desk couldn't find my reservation for this week. So she put me in a room that was close to lobby and 15 minutes she came room and had move to the back end of the hotel by the back entrance by the Ice machine so now i can here the people getting there Ice , Small complaint but I have COPD and the walk is aggerating and I'm out of breath. I explained this to her and was told I'm sorry. Remember i BOOKED a room 2 weeks ago. People be careful of this place far as I'm concerned this place is terrible…
The management and ownership of this Hotel In Waldo Florida is always clean inside and out. I have yet to see anything out of place or a wet floor on a rainy day. They strive to keep this property like new. On March12th i left my Ipod and ear buds in the room and realized the next day I was missing them. I caleed that day and inquired about my loss and to my good luck an honest room service person cleaning the room turned them in and they were placed in lost and found. You do not get that kind of help very often anymore. I stayed on Thursday April21st and asked for them and happily received my lost item. This tells you the quality of people who work for this company.
Located close to where I was working. Room was decently clean, bed was pretty comfortable and it was nice to have a chair & footstool to sit in and watch tv or read instead of only having the bed. Water pressure in shower not great, but that's pretty standard for any hotel I've stayed in. Breakfast was decent and enjoyed access to hot coffee morning and night. Onsite laundry, which I used, was handy, although they don't keep change so you can use them. Had to go to truck stop next door for quarters.
We travel frequently in the US and Europe, this was the cleanest hotel we have stayed at in quite a long time and the rates were great! The staff from the front desk to the housekeeping were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was well attended and very fresh. We will definitely stay there again!
Given COVID, I was surprised at the lack of cleanliness in my room. Garbage from previous guest was still in the can and pet food from previous guest on the floor, which led me to believe that the room had not been vacuumed. Beyond that, the TV didn't work in our room, which my husband needs on to sleep. He notified someone at the front desk and they gave him some advice to help reset the TV, but it didn't work. Bathroom floor needed mopped, bedside tables had residue from previous guest, and the comforter on the bed was stained. I'm not sure if these issues were because we were in a pet friendly room, but pet friendly rooms should be just as clean as non-pet friendly rooms. We had been travelling for 15 hours and had already unpacked our bags once we realized all of these things, and we were just exhausted so didn't ask to move to another room. Staff was fantastic and very courteous. If only the rooms lived up to the standard of the staff! …
Stopped here en route to south Florida and got the sleep we needed. Room was clean, management friendly, and buffet breakfast better than most (scrambled eggs and sausage). A bit pricey. TIP: since restaurants in Waldo are few and sketchy, suggest eating in another town before arriving, especially if you’re arriving after sunset.
