I selected this property as I was visiting the Vero Beach area and wanted something a little different. I was so surprised at what this hotel offered that I had to share it. Room is newly renovated and incredibly comfortable. Extremely clean. The rooms are behind the lobby, so although exterior entry no road noise came through at all. AC unit was clean, quiet and worked well. Shutters instead of curtains made the room itself feel homey. Wifi worked well enough for all my work needs, and the Roku-TV meant I could log into all my favorite streaming services. The only knock is that the bathrooms could use some updating and I was missing a few things in my room that I would have expected (coffee pot, ironing board, more hangers in the closet). But for about $100 a night, this was a much better experience than some of the more expensive Marriott or Hilton properties in the same general class. Would definitely recommend.

John, the manager was very helpful and accommodating. Zeke was also very polite and kind. However, John helped us with a request to change rooms as we had been placed at the rear of the hotel and we were not satisfied with this area of the hotel. I made a reservation to stay at Vero Beach Inn and Suites 8 weeks prior to going there so I don't know why we weren't given a better location in rooms to begin with. It was just my daughter, my 2 granddaughters and myself so we wanted to be closer to the front of the hotel and preferably to stay on the pool side of the hotel. The hotel has done a lot of work in renovations such as painting the entire hotel, re-doing the pool area with new lounge chairs, Tiki huts, paint etc. The lobby is very nice and decorated for the holidays. The entire hotel is pet friendly so make sure you mention this when asking for a room. The outside rooms face the parking lot. They need new doors inside (bathroom door) and outside door as the ones that we saw are starting to deteriorate at the bottom of the door. The hotel also much improved their trash and garbage situation with much larger wooden barrels to hold the trash that hotel residents have so that there isn't spillage as there was previously. We have been staying at Vero Beach Inn & Suites for 10 years or more but switched hotels when we were told that we had to stay on the outside of the hotel just because we brought along a couple of small dogs. Just for hotel management's information, "it isn't the dogs that make a mess - it's their owners". Breakfast is very good and the staff is terrific. All in all this hotel is a nice place to stay. They just need to make a couple of changes to their policies and a couple of repairs at which time they will definitely receive a five (5) rating for overall performance.

We needed a reasonably priced and convenient accommodation in the Vero Beach area, and this hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was clean, fresh and quiet and the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

A highlight was the excellent full hot breakfast included in the price. We especially liked the head chef, Jose. After we departed, I left a few items in the room in error. By the time I realized this, we were too far away to retrieve them. Front desk manager Jessica and her staff were very helpful in shipping the items back to me at my home.

The only negative is that the location is about 7 miles from downtown Vero Beach. But there are some shops and restaurants in the immediate area, such as an IHOP across the street. However, it is convenient to I-95. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Arrived at 4pm for check in and the room was not ready. Front desk staff was extremely rude and said there was "no time line" on when our room would be ready. This was not the only time we encountered rude front desk staff during our stay. We were finally able to check in after 5pm.

Work was being done on the grounds so the property looked like an active construction zone.

Pool area was large and clean with nice chairs and tables.

It looked like the rooms were slightly upgraded with new furniture and a shotty paint job as paint splatters were all over the floor. The bathroom had to be original as the tub had rust spots all over.

The room service was practically non existent. We were part of a large group that stayed for 4 nights. Our room was "cleaned" once. And by cleaned, I mean they came in, threw clean towels on our bed and a roll of toilet paper and walked out. The flooring is harwood laminate and covered in sand from just simply walking in and out of your room. Every time you wanted to get into bed, you'd have to wipe your feet off as to not have to sleep in a sand filled bed every night. Sheets were never changed, beds were never even straightened. And forget about having your trash emptied. I'm assuming the rooms at one time were also smoking rooms as they smelled of old smoke.

Everyone in our group had the exact same complaints. Hopefully Vero Beach Inn and Suites gets their act together. You couldn't pay me to stay at this place again.

We stayed for one night meeting friends for an event in the banquet room. Several days later I noticed an additional charge of $111 on my credit card. I called the hotel and the person who answered the phone said the charge was for “damaging two towels“.
I was surprised that they would charge so much for 2 cheap white towels but explained that I had actually brought several additional towels which were left in the room. I explained this, and the woman said, “well we have pictures of the towels that you damaged, do you have any proof of how many towels you actually left in the room?”
I asked to speak to the manager she said she would have someone call me back. No one did. I called several more times having similar conversations and asking to speak to a manager. No one ever called me back.
Each person I spoke to was pretty rude and definitely argumentative. I agreed that I was willing to pay for the cost of two towels. They have eight packs of those towels at Sam’s Club for $24 for eight towels.
I emailed every email address that I could find and explained that I felt that the charge of $111 was definitely too much for damaging two towels and I felt that it was simply an abuse of the fact that they had access to my credit card.
someone did finally refund my money, but they definitely would not have had I not just made a complete nuisance of myself. Also there was no explanation or apology, just a photo of an invoice with the money refunded.
This was the only time I have ever Been accused of, or charged for damaging anything in a hotel anywhere in the world. I feel like this is probably a scam that these people like to pull. Check your bill.

Thank you for the honest review. We have issue the refund for the towel. We want to build a relationship with every guest that comes to stay with us. The security deposit is $100 and that's wat we charge for any damage in the room or to the linens in the room. We do apologize for the miscommunication of your stay and to the item that was damage in the room. Also if you read the registration card upon check in it does mention room damage in the room how much the charge will be. Thank you for staying with us at that time. Have a great Holiday.

We stayed for 8 days. That was the first mistake. The room was dirty. We had to remove our own trash, hunt down workers for clean towels and ask every day for our room to be cleaned. We went to the front desk every day to ask them to clean our room. They offered to give us some snacks. The floors and bathroom were never cleaned. They serve a nice breakfast, however you can not take it to your room to enjoy. The breakfast staff yelled at people for putting fruit in the waffle machine (no sign posted). At checkout we asked about a discount for all of the above mentioned items….she said next time we book she would give us a 20% discount. Sorry but there will not be a next time.

Our bass club stayed at this facility for several days while fishing a tournament nearby. I was responsible to book all the rooms. I worked with Christina from the hotel and found her to be very responsive and professional. The hotel went so far as to have welcome baskets that were fishing themed for each of the 15 rooms. The process with them was very smooth. The facility itself is very well lit, the rooms were clean, and were updated. Any staff we came in contact with was very nice.

Our experience was a good one and we would stay at this location again whenever we fish in that general area.

The hotel is nice, they are pet friendly which is a plus and had plenty of doggie bag stations on the property. It was quiet, and the breakfast was very good. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that we had a couple of palmetto bugs in the room throughout the stay. Being a Florida resident, I understand that you see them once in a while but nobody likes or wants them in their room. We suggested upon checkout that they may need to spray more often.

After our Christmas celebration on 26DEC22 with our family, we arrived around 11:30pm to our room to find the bathroom ceiling leaking water. There was water on the floor also. My husband went to the office while I stayed in the room with our two small children and our dog. The person on duty immediately changed our room and everything from there on, went without a hitch.

The property was remarkably clean and quiet given how busy it was over the Christmas holiday and the number of pets on the premises.

Customer service was great! We will definitely stay here again.

I was evicted and forced out if my home today, and spent most of my day sitting in the woods with my son, my dog and what little bit if stuff I could save. A family friend gathered funds and called to pay for a room for us so we would have a place to stay for couple days. Unaware/ uninformed of the 100 deposit charged to a credit card and crying because i have no other means of financial assistance, Samantha at the front desk made it harder. She was extremely rude from the start, maybe bc I was dirty for sitting in the woods all day, she explained that I should have read the fine print, and declined accepting the deposit from said family friend . She was threatening to cancel my already paid room from the start. The room was in my name and asked to use a debit and she rudely shouted across the lobby that I was a liability and refused to allow me to check into my room. She even went as far as nasty things about me to other guest in line as well as her co workers. If that wasn't enough she kept walking out into the parking lot as I was talking to my son and went inside with more nasty things to say! I didn't stand a chance from the second I stepped foot in there!

Samantha should NOT have a position of dealing with the public!!! I would never recommend this hotel to ANYONE and will tell everyone I know as well as everyone in my neighborhood app as well! She's a horrible person! My advice to her if you don't like your job get a new one and hopefully it's not in customer service!
