Very well located but rooms really really dirty. Rude front desk people, I think we expect too much from this place , especially with all this COVID all 4 families in 4 different rooms agreed with dirty suites and had to waist our vacation time cleaning before our kids get in. Really a bad choice

I booked this location for two units for a group of 8. Two weeks later, my reservation was canceled. I was told there was a system issue which caused them to overbook. The only reason I found out was because i called them to confirm two weeks before my vacation and to ask them about early check in. It is now impossible to find a good beachfront location for two families the week before 4th of July. This system “issue” didn’t affect this resort much but has greatly affected us and vacation we were looking forward to, after our cruise was canceled.

Holly, we were sorry and concerned to hear about your experience. It is extremely rare that we overbook the resort. If we cannot honor a reservation then we communicate that to the guest as soon as possible. We are travelers too and we understand the problems it can cause both parties if we do not communicate something this important to a guest. We sent you a TripAdvisor private message on June 19th, please contact us. There are a few suites here we do not manage, we work with a multitude of third-party booking companies and we could not find your reservation based on TripAdvisor info. We want to investigate what happened here in case there is something we could be doing better. We hope to hear from you soon.

Let’s start off by saying the location is perfect, price wasn’t bad either, we stayed 3 nights and couldn’t argue on the price. The only issue we had was the AC in the room sucked, we live in Florida and know not to have the doors left open to outside but were told it wasn’t cooling due to the doors. We were told the temp in the room barely goes beneath 75, well having 6 people in a suite at 75 isn’t going to fly. First night we sucked it up, second night it seemed to work, 3rd night back to 77f and not cooling so they offered us box fans, I’ve never felt they work and we already had the ceiling fans on. So after feeling awkward and giving them every excuse they moved us. What was disheartening is that they move us a few doors down to a room with perfect views, cleaner inside, better equipped and all round much more pleasing. We then checked out 10 hours later. Really wish we had this room first, curious why we were given such a poor room when the hotel looked empty (maybe 20 cars the whole time). We paid $875 for 3 nights, so honestly the nicer room should’ve been justified. On the plus the pool was nice, beach was great, parking was spacious and close (beneath room) and staff were friendly.

This was our 3rd time visiting Sunset Vistas from the U.K. Once again we had a fantastic relaxing time. As ever all the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. All the suites are spacious and comfortable and those on the North side of the building have sun in the afternoon and a gorgeous sunset view looking out over to the sea. The location is great with the centre of Treasure Island and also the Boardwalk at John’s pass within easy walking distance with many more attractions a short car ride away. The wildlife in the sea and lagoons either side of the islands is amazing, we spent hours watching the sea birds fishing and the dolphins. My only reason for not giving the suites an excellent rating this time is because the suite we were in is in need of a renovation. Some of the white goods and appliances in our kitchen looked old, tired and in need of replacement. Equally some of the living room furniture could do with a refresh. Also there was only 2 chairs on a balcony for a room designed to house 4 people. However those minor points aside we still love this place and will be back again in the future.

Wonderful location on Treasure Island beach. All rooms have angled balconies that face the water. Very pleasant and helpful staff. One assigned parking spot per condo so if you have a second car parking can be challenging. My only negative with our unit was the second bedroom. It is very small and thus, only can accommodate a queen size bed. When used to sleeping in a king, this makes for a rather uncomfortable night's sleep. The Master BR is larger with a nice size bathroom. The kitchen is large with all the appliances you will need. Nicely decorated throughout the condo. There is a ground floor bar at the end of the complex facing the beach. There is also a restaurant on site but I did not try it. The swimming pools are nicely maintained with lots of seating. there is a hot tub also. All in all a very nice complex. Close to many bars, restaurants, and shops. If having a queen bed is not a concern, then this is an excellent choice.
