We enjoyed our stay. Only negatives are pillows were way too soft and it was tough sleeping. Everyone I went with said the same thing. The room we stayed in was nice but just outdated, and the coffee pot lid was broke so I had to hold it in place while I poured and lid was hot. To be fair I did not complain about anything. The girl at the front desk was very nice when we checked in and loved the view. I would definitely stay there again.

I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of our suite. The furniture was outdated and I could live with that, but the suite felt like a dirty motel and I didn’t want to touch anything. Both shower curtains were dirty and both bathrooms had mold. The carpet felt grimy under our feet. I purchased concentrated bleach and some of the mold was removed. As well as the coffee pot did not work. The master bedroom’s down comforter was extremely dingy. I reported this to the front desk clerk on day one. He informed me that he would send up housekeeping. That never happened. I emailed Alex the manager and to this day he has never responded back to me about my troubles.

We had a 4 night stay with 4 adults and 2 teens from April 24-28th. We had a gulf view room, it had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and also a pull out sofa. Everything was pretty clean, most importantly all the bed linens were extremely clean. There were a couple of small annoyances, such a as the exhaust fan in the bathroom not working very well and the pillows were very soft and cheap. The teens said the pull out sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable but they slept great. The only thing I would say negative is the circle k store across the road is a bit sketchy at night. Other than that, everything was great. Washer and dryer in the unit was very convenient as was parking and closeness to the beach. We walked to Johns pass and Dunkin’ Donuts, both are just about a 15 min stroll. Would visit again.…

We chose this hotel because of its beachfront location and so that our teenager could have a separate bedroom. The location was wonderful - beautiful stretch of beach. Also, the staff were very friendly, professional, and always ready with new towels, etc…The cafe was nice, as well, with very friendly staff. The beds were comfortable, A/C worked well, and the hotel was quiet at night, so we always enjoyed a good sleep. However, the room needed a good scrubbing and updated furnishings and decor. Also, for a $25 daily resort fee, there should be beach chairs for guests and there needs to be more and newer boogie boards available in the beach bins, as there were only a few and they were all broken. Overall, it was a good value, and, if the aforementioned changes were made, we would stay there again. …

Thank you, Gina. It's nice to learn you had a great stay, enjoying an overall good value, great rest on a quiet property, spacious suite, friendly guest service, and our beautiful beach. You might be happy to learn that we are working on a project to update the suite furnishings. We do not offer beach chair service because the whole beach is Public City Beach which does not afford us the space or authority to offer this service. The City licenses the Beach Chair Vendor on the beach behind the resort. You mention beach bins, we believe you are referring to the Courtesy Beach Box near the onsite beach access, this is where departing guests can leave beach items behind for other guests to use, you can find chairs, boogie boards, pool noodles, beach toys, etc. We do regularly try to clear out any broken items guests leave in there. I enjoyed my stay here in general, but I feel the cleaning fee was a bit excessive given the fact the condo wasn’t overly clean. I had a stained dirty towel hanging on the bathroom door, the carpets were dirty and had not been vacuumed, part of the coffee pot was broken, a fan was broken. The tile seemed clean and the bedding was clean, as well as the fridge and stove. This was a good location with a short walk to be on the beach. The courtyard was a little loud with a few rowdy guests but it was always quiet by 10pm each night. There is a nice little ice cream shop next door and a Publix right down the street. I’d probably choose a different place to stay next time based on the cleanliness factor. Furniture could use updating, as the listing said updated but it was not. One chair was too wobbly to safely sit on it.…

My wife and I stayed at Sunset Vista from March 13-27. The 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo was just short of filthy. The couch and chairs around the table were all stained and broken down. The base boards especially in the bathrooms haven’t been cleaned in a very long time. The appliances were old and rust was seen on a few. The dishwasher had garbage in the bottom of it and we didn’t dare use it. The outside pool area was nice and the people were very friendly. It was nice that music and coolers were allowed. They also have a tiki par that makes anything you want. Prices were fair and drinks were good. Our stay was fun and the location is great but the units and we saw 3 are tired and not up to date or clean. I don’t think we will be returning.

We had a very nice weekend there at Sunset Vistas. The beachfront area is easy to get to and right there for your pleasure. The pool is heated and enjoyable. But gets crowded fast. The owners need to expand that area. The tiki bar is great too. Drink the board! The rooms were decent. Could be a little better cleaned, and the bathroom baseboards could use a little more attention, but overall very comfortable.

My college roommates and I stayed in 307W in Sunset Vistas Condominium from 3/04/23 through 3/11/23. We had the best time! We felt we had the best condo because of our location providing a direct view of the beach and pool. We captured beautiful sunsets from our balcony which always had an ocean breeze! The cafe served delicious food, and the beachside bar was a plus. Other restaurants were within walking distance as well. The condo was well equipped with beach towels, and plenty of other supplies. The shower was great and the beds were comfy! We would definitely like to return. Did I mention we were in college together 49 years ago? Lisa and Chad were both great to work with and answered all of our questions!

We spent almost 2 weeks at Sunset Vista. Weather was perfect for the duration. Red tide effects were noticeable and sometimes got in the way of fully enjoying the beach. Beach was clean and well maintained. The location of the hotel was ideal, walkable to coffee shops and restaurants. Our room was ocean view, 2 BR, 2 bath. A complete surprise to us was that beach chairs and umbrellas had to be rented from an outside company for what we thought were outrageous prices. Totally not worth it. At the price point of this hotel, chairs should be provided. The "gym" was small, stuffy and not clean - especially annoying for working out on the floor. We bagged the idea of using it at all. Again, at this price point, an efficient clean gym should be provided. We liked how quiet the hotel was especially after 10 PM. No loud parties or music. The room was less than clean; needed dusting, stove drawer full of food crumbs and dirt. The kitchen cabinets were new and in good shape. The cooking supplies were adequate but were generally pretty tired. The coffee maker magically lost 20% of its liquid to steam and loud gurgling. Drain in bathroom sink was plugged and stopper came out completely. Maintenance was notified and was promptly fixed however. The rubber guard in the Garbage disposal in kitchen sink fell into the disposal and wouldn't stay in place. Ground up food would back up with water into the sink. Room was not serviced during our stay and floors were not vacuumed.; though towels etc were available on the cart in the hallway. Basically it was up to us to track down the cart to get what we needed in the room. Hot and cold water supply in bathroom were reversed, not a big deal. Only a little mold on the shower curtain. The couch in the living area was well worn and past its useful life...all sagged out and dingy. The dining room chairs were badly stained and also past their useful life. The glass on the dining room table had dried up food underneath it which could have been cleaned by simply lifting the glass. I think we probably left the room cleaner than when we found it! All these little annoyances may not sound like a big deal....but given the price being charged for the room, these little things turned into big annoyiances. While we enjoyed our stay there, we would not return paying the current prices. Not a good value for the money.…

Enjoyed our stay! Nice pools and hot tub all just steps away from the beach. Room was well-equipped and recently updated. On-site gym facility, not large, but better than nothing. Walk up bar by the pool/beach area was also nice. Free onsite parking. Overall, nice place and would go back.
